What causes me more anxiety is the artifact RNG. You can burn 20-30 fragile resins and you still won't probably get a decent piece that you want 🙃
Don't worry you still have to go through the artifact loot box. Where you have an equally low chance. I get anxious whenever I go to the alchemy table.

Speaking from a F2P standpoint, the anxiety I would get is deciding between which 5 stars should I spend my primosgems on.

According to some people on Reddit, it looks like « anxiety » was the result of Google Translate. It is not what they meant, but rather « Fear for Powercreep », something Chineses players really take seriously.
Like if they add more hard content, they fear their old characters will soon be useless.
But there is still a huge, colossal gap between now and Hu Tao or Ganyu being powercrept… like there is almost no difficulty right now.
But I'm still learning that people are getting fucking anxious about Abyss??? I mean, okay, I read this on Twitter, but how boring or mundane is your life, if between everything, this game is what's hurting you?? I understand that some people just want to relax from a stressful life, but I don't know if they are the majority?

I love how people think the "anxiety" refers to anything involving difficulty in regards to spiral abyss.
When in reality the "anxiety" they refer to is the anxiety of when you're playing gacha games and have way too many activities to do on a regular basis, effectively turning the game from something you do because you enjoy doing it, into a second full time job. Especially when said activities have gacha currency tied to them as a reward in any capacity.
Those who know, know exactly what I'm talking about. Especially if you play more than one gacha game at any given time.
This game has enough content a day to fill up 10 minutes there is noway you should be able to get anxiety from that and people think the Anxiety refers to abyss because it was mentioned after the Question of new end game content like spiral abyss pretty logical that we relate those 2 things together then
@@LookingForAzure And no one is saying that those 10 minutes a day are what causes anxiety.But to put more daily / weekly content that increases that mandatory time that you must connect per day if what you want is to maximize the farming.
The reason why I connect to Genshin every day is because even the days when I least want to play the game are only 10 minutes for daily farming and that's it. If I had to log in 1+ hour every day to maximize farming because the game is full of endgame content like other gachas I definitely wouldn't have lasted 2 years playing the game.
@@LookingForAzure this is such a vapid argument. It's like that when you reach the point we're at sure but what about newer players or people who don't spend an entire fucking week to a month playing NOTHING but genshin like we did when the game came out?
Again, I implore you to try playing multiple gachas at once that have "endgame" content. You'll quickly see what I mean in regards to how these things pile up and eventually start to feel like a job rather than a game. *That's* the anxiety that they're referring to that they're trying to avoid making.
They literally have data from honkai impact to prove it too cause they very clearly see how many people don't touch abyss or MA over there or even care for those things in the first place. Like mujin said, they have all the data that we don't see. They know exactly what keeps their players playing their games the most and I promise you, it isn't the "endgame" 9-5 full time job grindathon like many of us in our social media echo chambers like to convince ourselves it is.
@@justsomeguy727 just so you know i play Genshin, Honkai impact Pgr and tof for Gacha games + games like overwatch and Dead by daylight. Stil not feeling the Anxiety.... plus i work 40 hours a week as a Coach. Also a Good Reason Why people Dont Touch The Abyss/MA is Cause they're most of the time Catered to a Specific Character like for Example Palatinus Equinox We Still Get Otto on the Regular So no Wonder not everybody is doing it. And No Genshin impact Endgame doesnt have to be like Honkai

I never Even Said that We should Get Insane Rewards from a new endgame (gamemode) But Asking For Something to make our Accounts feel worthy To Grind would be Nice Cause Abyss ain't and by now the F2P's are even Breezing through it.....
Tbh, i see Genshin endgame should be move toward more like Arknights endgame. Like on the latest Integrated Strategy.
Also both game doesnt touch any pvp components and focus on single player experience.

I already quit for the second time
I've been playing for almost a month now, started from around AR27 because I did play before at launch but dropped it, now I'm AR50, I have no quests left, I've been completely F2P using mostly the free characters, I have some 5* and 4* I never invested in and don't plan to anytime soon, out of all the characters in my team only two of them are lvl80 and the rest are 70 or below, despite this I'm able to solo lvl90 domains and bosses, there's nothing left for me to do except spiral abyss 10-12 which I don't see the point in even trying, nor do I feel the need to grind and further strengthen my characters just to see 6 digit numbers in DMG, until new story content drops or something really worthwhile to do in the game I don't see the point of playing further

Venti decided to come check who it was with and he was shocked.

“Im her boyfriend, but I can be yours too.” Venti winked.
“W-What…I can’t believe you would cheat on me!? Waaahhhhhhh.” Scaramouche cried, Venti was scared and Thenia was frozen.
Venti dramatically ran towards Scaramouche and dragged his arm.
“If Thenia is with both you and me, then maybe she loves both! She’s a good person…”
“H-Huh?”
That was when Thenia decided to make a move, she explained all her feelings and hard decisions, she told them that she geniunely loved them both. All three of them started crying for no reason.
“Can we be a threesome?” Venti asked, he actually had a crush on both Thenia and Scaramouche.
“Sure!” Thenia replied.

Honestly I think most people aren’t even genuinely excited for the TCG unless they already like trading card games they are just excited to have SOMETHING to do in the game they enjoy because it forces them to play everyday by using fomo which is what actually causes anxiety it was just such a shitty excuse and was the main reason the interview pissed me off i would’ve just coped and accepted it if they gave like literally any other reason

I manage both my account and my girlfriend's account, but even with going through the grind of daily commissions and using 150 resin each day for the daily battle pass challenge, I only ever spend 30-40min combined for both accounts daily. Still consider myself a casual player though haha

Yeah, I literally login this days to play my fav characters (not even every day) run around in a new area or mb do quests and events that provide interesting story quests, that's it. If it's some boring ass repetitive event i won't even bother anymore i think, because I've done almost everything in this game, I have characters to clear main content without any struggle. I've never cared about Abyss and my chars have pretty much everything, they say it won't get harder and there won't be any new broken powercreep kits anymore so why bother.
As someone that hit AR60 a year ago now, I'm really bored with the game

I feel like genshin exists so that honkai (both the 3rd and Star rail) can fly. Genshins open world fantasy setting is far more marketable than the sci-fi of honkai. So, just like the players are expected to do the bare minimum, the devs give the same amount. They get the money they need to keep the game growing, and the rest is funneled straight to the animation studio or smt, idk.

yeah thats what i thought, thinking am i the crazy one here for asking more permanent/replayable content? on this game community? people said that genshin story based game, and yeah poor hoyoverse they're just small-new-indie game devs that we shouldn't bother them with our problems, because they even already struggling paying their electricity bills for their small office
then whats the point of constellation? characters weren't cheap, especially weapons banner, for all i know i dont play this game for playing OSU, playing cards, fishing, tower defense, or even hide n seek why would i even want to play that mainly in this game? even if its really story based for me its doesnt even close to 1 of the best story based game like "witcher 3" first of all its offline game, secondly its far more cheap than to afford 1 character in genshin (180 pulls for 100% guaranteed from rate off to rate on and reach hard pity) and far more better game overall(story and gameplay)
BUT im not play abyss(i just play it for free xiangling) and not even meta slaves because i dont like competitions so i kinda agree with hoyoverse in this side of problems, yeah my version of asking for more repeatable/permanent content was like example the "city reputation" system thats permanent and repeatable for every week, and its already implemented in the game and its really helpful for faming mora even its not that much and finally there's something to do in game, it has battle involved but its not that hardcore that has to "go beyond limit"

What is end game content?
I stopped after I didn't have a good set for my hu tao even after spending the daily primos on it cuz I had enough trying to get a character but then not having the right artis to do abyss with. fuck that. this happened during the 1st anni and subsequent events so I was mad about a lot of things on top of that
also most of what I've heard of people say how genshin is superior to any other gacha and shits on those is how genshin is an open world game. what's the point of adding a card game to that as endgame content?????????????????????? I'll never understand

As a a casual I can confirm that endgame content that depends on your build quality gives me anxiety.
Like I'd much prefer them giving custom built characters and fine tuning bosses and encounters accordingly to it. So that I can stop second guessing myself if my built is bad or not. It would also even the playing field with whales and F2P because like, what's difficult for one will still be a pushover for other and what's difficult for other will be downright impossible for someone else. So Yeh, for whales it's kinda a demon of their own making.
Id still rather have the full team focus on map and enemy design and ignore endgame combat
