I love how when X asks a stupid question like "what is a traveler", he the proceeds to scan tens of thousands of chatters giving him accurate answers and picks the one guy whose either stupid or making a joke, that's a talent if I've ever seen it.
Also i find it interesting how cultures work and operate, and based on what people are saying this is a real thing that plenty of people participate in. Its wild to me that something like this can still be around in such a modern and developed part of the world as the UK in this day and age. It also brings into question if shes actually trolling, personally i think the star sign thing gives away that she is, unless thats something that these travelers teach. If she isn't then thats actually kinda sad.
I live in Ireland and we would always know if somebody is a traveller by the amount of fake tan, makeup and eccentric dresses they'd wear. Also, they are known for living in caravans so it checks out. I genuinely don't think she's trolling.
Literally everyone was saying Gypsy which is not what these people are. Gypsies are from northern India of Romani decent while travelers are from the UK. Same concept but different from Gypsy.
That's not a stupid question. Nobody outside the UK would know that travellers are some specific group of people in the UK that's similar to gypsies, yet most europeans would know what gypsies are.
@@Tooliar Yep most of them (especially the girls) drop out of school, at least in the UK, don't know about Ireland or other countries. So she may be stupid enough to not be trolling.
In France the entire community of travelers is considered a criminal organization. They take over people property to park their caravans and mobile home for 1 or 2 weeks, rack everything in the area (breaking into homes, stealing cars, sucking out trucks' gas, etc...) and they are known to be tied with international drug and car trafficking. Basically they have the logistics to juke cops barrier to move drugs (and the ability to launder high amount of cash through carnivals and markets businesses) and they steal cars, break them into pieces and send them to Romania to build entire new cars. On top of that they sell their wives and daughters bodies, so they are pimps as well.
From my days of deliveries I met some of them in towns part of my sector and I was surprised to find them buying really it houses with big parking spots. They've told me that they do this for the elders. As they get older they can't travel anymore so they let their elder live in big ass houses funded with dirty money while I was working my ass off to pay the bills.
It's kinda crazy when you think about it but nobody can do shit. When cops come to get them out since they are basically squatting they are being pushed back and home owners are too scared (rightfully so, they are pretty dangerous) to attempt anything legally. And obviously everything about them isn't documented so it's hard to investigate them and even harder to dismantle the organization as a whole.
I mean even if its a troll she dedicates her entire life to simply that one troll on the internet. This is even more sad than believing that she is serious about it.

this is very common style for the traveling community here in ireland and the bad spelling is probably the case of not having a very good education because a lot of travelers dont go to school or drop out really early.

People seem to be a little confused about the irish traveller part of this.
What's happened here is that in Irish traveller (a minority ethnic group in the british isles with their own language etc) culture includes women using very dark fake tans particularly at events like weddings. Traveller culture also involves a lot of very "uncensored" communicating. For example there is a tradition of having a straightener (fight to settle a dispute) between the men of traveller families that dislike one another.
Basically they have a pretty Bay Zed sense of humour and swear quite often. They also are pretty good at making fun of people. So my guess is this traveller girl and some of her friends already were tanning like this sometimes and just decided to do a little trolling on the side.
It's pretty funky that some of u think she isnt trolling tho lol.
Iirish travellers are like the hood dwellers except opposite end, I live with them in the same community, theyre always robbing houses.

I just want to say this because it's Interesting
On June 7th 1892 Homer plessy bought a first-class train ticket in Louisiana to test the Separate car act of 1890. So the question was what percentage of African American blood do you have to be to be black. Plessy was 7/8ths Caucasian and 1/8th African American or 12.5% he was arrested on the train by a detective later. This meant that to be black in Louisiana you would have to be 12.5% African American but she's in London and I don't know much of their history and even if she was in Louisiana in 1890 she wouldn't be counted as a black person so RIP
