    100% YES!!! WE WANT KANER!!!!
    Not just bc the fans want it, but bc it HELPS THE TEAM. He’s a PPG player, is a franchise icon, WANTS to be here
the list goes on.
    Clearly the young kids aren’t ready to take leadership roles, they’re too young. The leadership Kyle brought in is either no longer here, or hurt. It can’t all be on Foligno shoulders. There’s one other person in the league that has been in Connor’s exact shoes, that’s Kaner. He handled it and won championships. It would do these young kids some good to defer to a franchise icon, for it to be “his locker room.” And when Kane retires, it’ll be there turn and they’ll be READY. Give the fans something to be excited about COME ON KYLE

      Agreed. Chgo sports says the hawks want a new “identity” in hawks hockey
 whatever that means I guess. It makes all the sense in the world to bring him back. And from what Nick foligno has said, they need to get better players in here who will accept their roles. Kane brings that versatility of a buy in and better skilled players then the Reece Johnson’s and Jared tinordis. Kane has even said he wouldn’t mind coming back. I think there’s more to it than just Kyle Davis saying he wants a new identity of hawks hockey. Why would u be so anti to bring in a player who can sign a 2-3 year contract and play on bedards wing?

      @domcagney2352 Pƙed 9 dny +1

      @@Deadly_Ricardo_67 I completely agree, I think it makes perfect sense. I think it’s creating an issue where there isn’t one and alienating your franchises greatest player. This insistence that it needs to be “Bedard’s team” and “who would the PP go through?” It would go through whoever gives them the best chance to win, like always. It’s not like Kaner is 25, he’s 35 with a few years left..,and he deserves to finish it out here. Why you wouldn’t want him to be a part of the next era to usher the young kids in is beyond me. Great teams have multiple great players, it’s how it works. It would do Connor some good to have the weight taken off his shoulders and have someone on his skill level to play with and learn from. When Kane retires, Connor will be 21-22 maybe and READY to take over a team
and he’ll have learned from the best. Wouldn’t you want Connor to have come up under Kane’s wing? Not Corey fucking Perry and Taylor Hall??
      I really think Kyle is making a mistake and I really hope he changes his tune. Kaner should be here. But like you said, it really makes you think there’s something more to it bc the reason they’re giving makes zero sense

      @@Anthony-bq8yd yep. Managment specifically Kyle Davis I think has this grudge towards Kane. I don’t know if there was mixed emotions on the two parties or what but to say he doesn’t fit the criteria of a buy in short term deal, ur not gonna get a better deal

    • @domcagney2352
      @domcagney2352 Pƙed 5 dny

      @@Deadly_Ricardo_67 they claim there’s no bad blood but that Kane “didn’t feel the love” on the way out bc the team didn’t see a role for him moving forward. I think Kaner wanted to stay here, expected to be offered a contract and when he wasn’t was kind of caught off guard. He did right by the org and honored his contract and allowed them to get something for him rather than having surgery while a Blackhawk, sitting out and walking for nothing. And I totally agree, if you take the name off the back of the jersey, he’d be the first guy everyone mentioned in terms of a FA to bring in. The timeline fits, he fits perfectly with your star player, he’s a champion, you have the money and hes still a PPG player who contributes on the PP. not bringing him in is personal, bc it makes all the hockey sense in the world

    Two thoughts.
    1. Kane and the Blackhawks should get in a room and work it out. It would be great to have his leadership and experience in the locker room and on the ice.
    2. Boyle is looking buff. Did he add weight lifting to his workout routine?

    "We dont want to stunt their growth, so instead of keeping our legends - we'll go out and get other veterans that are the same age to teach them"
    Go ask Bedard who he'd rather have on his right wing.. Patrick Kane or Phillip Kurashev..

  • @domcagney2352
    @domcagney2352 Pƙed 10 dny +3

    Why is it a bad thing that it would go through Kane after a loss? Why is it a bad thing that it would be his locker room? It’s not going through Connor or any of the kids yet, they’re too young. Wouldn’t you rather it be someone w the cache and resume of Kane? I just think it’s such a mistake. Especially if Kaner was essentially shown the door when he didn’t want to leave. Kyle should make that right, I’m sorry it’s just wrong

    • @Deadly_Ricardo_67
      @Deadly_Ricardo_67 Pƙed 9 dny +1

      I agree completely to. No offense to kurachev or Taylor hall, but kane is a huge upgrade over those two. And any other guy that their gonna have to make moves for like Marty necas. Their gonna have to give a king’s ransom to get because they have no trade assets besides draft picks which Carolina doesn’t want. Carolina doesn’t care about 18th pick or other mid round picks. Guentzel is 30 why would u sign him long term? Kane is in the perfect bubble of over the hill in his career and he can still perform for 2-3 years alongside bedards wing. Once this team is ready to contend for the playoffs kane can retire and bedard will lead the way.

    As a Blackhawks fan as much I would love so much for Kane to return and I believe that he will return as a hawk and playing with Conner. We have to stay patient and keep the trust the rebuild. It would be nice to see him on a contender that could win the cup. If they do sign Kane then that’s fine but I what this team to succeed for a long time.

  • @domcagney2352
    @domcagney2352 Pƙed 10 dny +2

    I just don’t get how fans loving Kaner and cheering for him is somehow a bad thing
the reality is, good teams have multiple stars, this need that it HAS to be “Connor’s team” is ridiculous
 he’s 18, when Kaner retires, it’ll be his team. Fans can cheer equally for 2 players on the same team
we did it for years. It’s just creating an issue where there isn’t one and alienating our franchise’s greatest player in the process

    • @Deadly_Ricardo_67
      @Deadly_Ricardo_67 Pƙed 9 dny

      Yes the whole it’s Connor’s team is just bullshit. I’m sorry Kyle Davis, ur leadership of nick foligno, Jason Dickinson, Connor Murphy, and Seth jones, are not the same as of what Patrick kanes is. No offense to those 4 but it’s what it is. All the young guys would stand and salute to Patrick Kane if he walked into the Locker-room. The hawks fans that want singing like Jake guentzel is just dumb. He isnt take a 4 year deal at 30 years old. Sign Kane 2-3 years and when he retires the team should be competitive again

      @@Deadly_Ricardo_67 I agree with everything you said. It makes PERFECT sense. It helps the team, it fits the timeline, we have the money, it helps your young superstar, the list goes on
