I thing Gen X were the last of the feral children. Going down the street to play with friends, meeting at someone's home & their mom fed anyone that showed up, pickup sport games, some video games but your parents didn't let you waste your entire day playing. My grandson had a helicopter mom (my daughter-in-law) but she gradually let him loose because of sports & Boy Scouts. He just finished his plebe year at his Academy.

Worst thing is it's always a 3rd party fanning the flames for conflict feeding on negative sentiments. Even post war. Only the embattled parties can discuss a framework for living in peace, which never comes because there's someone in the background profiting from the conflict.

@@HS-PGA It's easy to predict what's going to happen because i see it now. The way this guy lays it all out makes it so easy to put together the pieces. The turnings are fake, artifacts of old moneys ploy to control society. And hell it's easy cause nobody's paying attention, and because they don't come out of the woodwork and wear a crown that they used to, instead they let some modern entrepreneuring go-getter create an empire with their own hands and then weaponise it during the times where everybody being selfindulgent individuals and create public struggle and divide us into little camps so they can be lead like sheep, and because they wait a certain amount of time before they pull it into the strings that they have control of people are completely off guard because they are the children of the chrldren of people without war and without any strife who have no idea of what could really happen. And then just sprinkle in a little ruthlessness and follow the plan to artificially create turnings, simply because they need to clear the slate of people who are getting to self sufficient and not need the government. And every time they successfully pull it off it makes it look like it's something that cannot be avoided. its obvious they need to create these turnings over and over so that the sheep don't become the wolves. So whats happening in our world is old money cleaning the slate over and over thats why it seems so counter intuitive to the benefit of humanity because old money in the world knows how to survive a turning. I dont know what IT is, but theres something. Im worried for a man whos just starting to get his life in order. I worry for my 1 year old twin niece and nephew, who i just spent 2 days swimming with. I worry for my family's business thats been in existence since 1864, and my brother who's the 5th generation to operate the business. If anyone is interested its a menswear store called Weitzenkorns located in Phoenixville, PA. I worry for everyone who has and is reading this. I pray for us all. SOMETHING IS COMING.

Jesus is coming. Satan gets a short season of power prior. Revelation is history, written in advance. That is what is coming, we all feel it.
So there are a few views of eschatology(study of future events/prohpecy) in Christianity. The pre-millennial side sees Jesus as returning to rule the earth for 1000yrs prior to an eternal state when the earth is remade without sin/pain/suffering/etc. This should occur roughly 2k years after He left, that is 2030. We will know in 5.5 short years if pre-mil is correct.
The first coming was foretold extremely specifically, and all unfolded as written. And from Scripture we know that God doesn’t change. So I do not believe He’d give us a book of metaphors and symbols and not very specific history, as He did the first time around. I’m definitely open to being wrong, but we all feel it coming.

While you were doing drugs the IRS profited from your drug use it makes around 111 - 150 billion dollars from the sale of illegal drugs in 2019 they sent out letters to drug dealers reminding them to put all the drugs as income for the upcoming tax season it netted 111 billion. There are around 700,000 people incarcerated for victimless crimes in America around 3 million on parole or probation and approximately 4 million arrested per year for victimless crimes, no harm loss or injury means no crime under common /constitutional law. No victim means no crime. Those 700,000 people are slaves to a system that profits from their incarceration not to mention the justice system that prosecuted them. Look up sin tax a tax on goods deemed harmful to society, it's on alcohol, tobbaco, candy, fast foods etc. Instead of criminalising the giant corperations that produces those goods they stealth fine you in taxes. They allow those giant conglomerates to poison the population with said goods and fine you for using them. You live in a Kleptocracy not a Democracy.

The actual working class (ie, non-union, non-governmental worker) candidate for president was lied on by CIA and then spied on by FBI and then attempted to remove him for those false lies created by political opponents. Then for 4 years the political opponents funded riots and a epidemic with lockdowns that mostly adversely effected working class America. Then political opponents and press were sent home statistically improbable swings in votes happened after tallies were made to shift votes in key swing cities and the DOJ declined to do serious investigation, then people protested without weapons or fire and an unarmed woman was shot in face for trespassing and hundreds of supporters were jailed for years for non-violent crimes. Then secret service failed to adequately protect the leading candidate and he is almost assignated, then the man losing in the polls is forced to be replaced with someone else that received zero primary votes by her party. 😂

I find it quite odd that Blackrock, the company that owns the world, the company that just had the Trump assassin in one of their commercials a year or two ago(btw I'm sure they just so happened to pick that kids town out of allllll the towns in America to do their commercial, the company that owns Crowdstrike(the company that was responsible for the recent internet outage which caused chaos all over), I find it quite odd that they sent three of their top executives to work in "notable positions" within the Biden administration. Surely this isn't all tied together right? Surely they aren't doing everything in their power to keep Trump out of office so he doesn't mess up their corrupt little ponzi scheme with the democratic party, right? How many of you knew we're currently sending 40 MILLION dollars a week to the Taliban in Afghanistan? How many of you knew they are using that money to train the 21 different terrorists organizations under them with the intent of using that training to take advantage of our open borders and come over here to carry out widespread attacks that will make 9/11 look like childsplay? How many of you knew the Biden administration blacklisted a former high ranking Taliban member who's now a commander with a group fighting these terrorists groups from testifying before congress to inform them that any of this is even happening? Think about it, the Biden administration, in a total incompetent failure, abruptly pulled out of Afghanistan getting many Americans killed in the process and leaving behind tens of billions of dollars worth of equipment for the Taliban to have.. So not only did we just give our enemy that we've spent the past 20+ years at war with, billions of dollars worth of military equipment to use against us, which we the people paid for with the sweat of our brow, but we're also sending them 40 million dollars a week so that they can train with the intent to do harm to Americans... This is absolute lunacy and anyone that can still vote Democrat after everything that's happened over the past four years is either a traitor to America, or is wilfully ignorant and so far indoctrinated by the propaganda(all of which is owned by Blackrock btw- you know, the company that sent three of its executives to work in the Biden administration.. the company that just so happened to have the Trump assassin in one of their commercials a year or two ago) that they will never open their eyes, step back, and see things for what they are through unbiased lenses. But hey, im just a random stranger on the internet, don't take my word for it.. I urge each and every one of you to look into every single claim I made here for yourself. Do your own research, form your own unbiased opinions. Break free from the corporate propaganda machine and think for yourself. These things aren't just some crazy conspiracies you can dismiss bc thats the easy route and you don't want to be proven wrong; this is the future of America as a whole we're talking about here. Our children and grandchildrens future. You owe it to your future offspring and to the people of this country to do your own research and form your own unbiased opinion.. Or don't and remain ignorantly blissful for the rest of your life while society continue to crumble and get more & more miserable with each and every day that passes, all so that your ego doesn't have to admit you were tricked and lied to. I can lead a horse to water but I can't make it drink, the choice is yours.
Ps, if you want a little bonus objective to look into while you're doing this research, look into the judge who just oversaw Trumps trial where he was found guilty of 30 something felonies. Look into which party he votes for and which candidate he donated money to. Look into which party his daughter works for. Look into which VP's 2020 campaign his daughter worked for and then tell me all of this is nothing more than political persecution to silence a political opponent.. You know, the same thing 3rd world countries and dictators do..

I know it's harder in reality than on paper to do, but judges really should be impartial. Yes, just about everyone favors one political side over another, but at the very least any judge who clearly has a history of donating to one side and has family members involved with that side should be excused from any trial involving anyone or anything political in nature. Any judge worth his salt would have recused themselves. But that's not how we play anymore and it's not a good sign for this country.

His books single handedly ignited my interest in History. I had never before had history taught to me in a way that was so engaging and relatable. Their theory turned history from a boring, abstract sequence of events on a timeline into cyclical patterns that can be condensed into something like a formula. No longer was it just memorizing dates and names and events. History teachers everywhere take note. Understanding history the way they teach it makes the subject so much more dynamic. For the first time I began to understand what history means for the future, our place in it, and what that means for my generation, my parents’ generation, and my kids’ generation. In essence, it made history matter to me for the first time. Whereas before it was just like this passive thing that happens to us as a society. I can’t say enough good things about his work. We’re lucky to have such insight from these men as we’re immersed in this current Fourth Turning. My recommendation, skip The Fourth Turning and jump straight to The Fourth Turning is Here. They’re both great but if you’re worried about the here and now, his most recent book is where you should start.

Came back one week later to this video, just to share, I did download and listen to the original The Fourth Turning book.
Fascinating stuff. The one thing I would argue is that the writer's definition of "meaningful events" could change entirely the model they put forth.
But, it did give a great perspective in which you can look at history and today, the future, and how generational archetypes can be compared identically over time, versus the parent, the grandparent, and the great grand parent's experience through society, how they interact with society throughout their life from childhood to elderhood.
For those of you who knows the future of America is grim and is looking for some heavy reading that gives you an idea of the CYCLE of time rather than the time LINE of our lives, this book was exactly what I needed to learn about. Thank you PBD team!!

We sit back and take it all in. We don't stir the pot, but we don't let others walk all over us either. Our counterpart won the Great War as teenagers and struggled through the great depression as middle aged adults. They parented the heroes of WWII. They retired when the world was turned in it's head in the 60's. They quietly existed but made a big difference. Wouldn't be such a a bad path for us. We are already the forgotten heroes of the Gulf wars, the kids who grew up to be the first adult generation to go digital and experience the internet and wide usage of cellphones, not to mention the first kids to use early PCs in school. We've lived through major world changes just as our counterparts did. They were my great grandparents. I only ever knew one of mine. I hope we are destined to have our children be the next heroes to get us out of the coming crisis. I think it's people like our generation, the cool minded, calm collected folks that need to be the ones to parent the future heroes. We ourselves may not be the dynamic hero archetype, but we serve our purpose as the mentors of them, and we have learned from the mistakes of all the crazies before us 😂

Im 38, born in 86. My parents were lower middle class growing up, and rose to a middle middle class status. They were what I call "cash starved" rich. THey had the 4500 square foot house, and good cars, and food on the table. But dad worked 40 years for the same company and died of a heart attack before he turned 60. I went off the deep end, and bought 30 acres in the middle of rural kentucky and am seeking a simple life, homesteading, homeschool the kids, and community. Growing up in that 4500 square foot house, and going to public school was just lonely and empty. Not sure where I fall in the archetype structure, but I am a Polymath, bootstrapper DIY type. I can do anything from engineer an Amazon Package Sortation Facility, to raising farm animals.

Longer timelines but you see it from the Princely State - Kingly State - Territorial State - State Nation - Nation State. History is cyclical.
