    This shows how comfortable Rigby is in his position of power. He has absolutely no problem with intimidating the witness knowing that he’s on video. Ironically the witness is more qualified to do the POST job that Rigby lost.

    He's just made himself look even worse. This is outrageous. The way he tried to manipulate the witness with threats shows his bias and how police circle the wagons and protect each other. It also demonstrates why police don't come forward. The sherrif is acting like there's no video of the incident or we should all not believe our eyes. This is so insightful into police investigating themselves and what's truly wrong with it.

    • @DoubleMonoLR
      @DoubleMonoLR Před 11 měsíci +1

      It's not *entirely* a case of protecting each other, though I suppose all the corrupt ones probably are, and it definitely seems that way in the most senior positions. Several other officers clearly opposed Rigby:
      "After watching the video, Officer Lucas McTaggart’s supervisor filed a complaint against Rigby with POST on December 20, 2021."
      "Two other officers also left the department and accused the city of retaliation. The case was settled for $7,800.
      A fourth officer told FOX 13 News in 2021 that they were in the process of trying to leave the department as a result of the case."

Pushing on a guy to keep him in the car is where this kind of incidental contact can happen. If he'd walked up and grabbed the guy by the throat to begin with it would be different. But that's not what happened.

They tell him that he should have look taken Institution in addition to his research on the policy, he should have watched the video, and then seconds later they tell him he should have reported this to his Sergeant immediately and not delayed and done any research.

    My perception. The sheriff is a very clever manipulator, very quietly spoken , reasonable, affable and in his determination was the officer didn’t see what he saw , he was wrong . He should not have been telling the rookie he was training about use use of force that was the departments job . After some time trying to very reasonably and nicely to convince the officer that his perception of the event was mistaken and greater minds than his had decided the chief did nothing wrong . That if he couldn’t accept that and do as he was told he wasn’t being a team player and that his career was over .

The Interrogators said it was excessive force the whole time he just couldn't understand or keep up. Their speaking a foreign language. Court Room, Lawyer. Judge, Law Enforcement Language you gotta understand it some what or you just don't get it. They are proud of this officer, just don't let him know so he can keep his guard up to be aware.
    I hope he goes very far in his career just keep the mind set and morals you have in this moment. Keep your Heart, just keep studying your policies and act on them in the moment, keep fighting for our Rights and to be treated like human beings in the end.

    This video explains a lot! First it explains the ridiculous rationalizations used to excuse the police chief's actions. Next it explains how this Sheriff had so Hoodwinked so many state officials to think he was the greatest thing since sliced bread. He's a great manipulator!

    Why has no one brought this up? Utah Code Section 76-5-103 Aggravated assault any act that intentionally or knowingly impedes the breathing or the circulation of blood of another individual by the actor's use of unlawful force or violence by: (A) applying pressure to the neck or throat of an individual; (3)
