Mix number 8 is online! Finally I can upload my sets to my old channel again! Still keeping my second channel though. Just in case I get banned again for six months ;D.
This set is something completely different. Got in touch with some Atmospheric/Progressive Break tunes. These genres needs way more attention imho...so I decided to make a nice set :) This is my very first attempt in this genre...hope you guys like it :)

brings me back to the "Oakie" days..you've taken the right cues from peeps like Oakenfold, your highs and lows, transitions blend beautifully. Its good to know there's folks that appreciate well crafted tunes...I just cant stand people who call "car alarm" music, progressive breaks..adding a bit of melodic chanting/exotic Buddha type, might soften the edges a bit. Listen to early prog breaks and you'll see what I mean, less "choppy choppy" or "boom boom boom" and more emotions- that's the formula.

I have really only just started getting into breaks. With the demise of "real" Progressive Trance this is a natural progression for me.
Great mixing also in this set. I have given mixing breaks a go. It seems quite abit different to mixing a standard 4x4 beat so i am struggling with beat matching snares instead of the kick.
I literally can't find any other progressive breaks mix in all of CZcams that both calms and energizes me the way that this one does. Thank you for this!
p.s. if you ever plan on making another of these, check out some of the songs I've posted and consider using them. :-)

Ahhhh...beautiful track! It has this "Life didn't go well so far....but I have to fight!" feeling to it. Well...that's just how I feel when listening to this tune.
Pretty good analogy - You can feel the love in the bass-line and some of the rolling drum fills.

I'm glad you don't follow the vast majority of todays heards...ive been in the electronic scene from the onset, what has people really jumping is when you tap into their emotions (softer side). As you suggested, its much harder to do because your tunes really need to strike the right balance between hard and soft..most of what you hear today is just so just crap really..CHOPPY and BOOM BOOM BOOM BOOM..that just numbs you..it doesn't speak to the emotional you- keep on keepin on.
