Just speaking from the perspective of the listener maybe turn away from the mic so it doesn't pick up the sound. It's amazing how the sound just stays in your head long after it's over. I don't understand the the phenomenon but as a person with a neurodivergent brain it does effect the experience. It feels so good to be out of denial, and what feels like was essentially an illusion blanket projected by him.
