- Video: An evening spotting trains at Ebbsfleet International station on High Speed 1, featuring many passing & stopping Eurostar and Southeastern services, as well as an evening HS1 freight move from Dollands Moor to Ripple Lane.
As this was filmed throughout the evening rush hour, there were plenty of non-stop Southeastern 395s passing through from Stratford Intl to Ashford Intl (incl. the usual ECS moves to/from Ashford).
Also included at the start was unrefurbished Eurostar 3217/3218 passing Stratford Intl. I was hoping to see this call at Ebbsfleet on its return, but unfortunately it swapped diagrams with a refurbished set to run a non-stop return, much to my disappointment.
TRAINS INCLUDED:
Eurostar Class 373 TGV TMST e300s & Class 374 Velaro e320s, Southeastern Class 395 Javelins and GBRf Class 92 with HS1 freight.

The sound of TGV TMST/E300 😍
Superb video. Nice that you got a freight train in the mix as well. :)
EUROSTAR E320 a very nice train good video.
Great video ! I've read that next week, it will be the end for the 3217/18 unit.
Thanks, do you know if they’ll scrap it or store it.
I don't know, everything is possible with the SNCF !
When the eurostar departs ebbsfleet international I love the way the sound is 4:16
Beautiful trains ❗
I wish in India also our trains will run at high speeds to give tough competition to our airlines industry for local country travel
Great video, nice to see a 92 there too!
Thanks very much
ACETrainsUK what’s a class 92 I’m Australian
@@CHOO-CHOOPlane ㅡ
@@tinayang5442 a class 92 is a type of locomotive built by ABB and is used to operate on 25k volts overhead wires via the channel tunnel. It goes on the HS1 (high speed one) as shown at 29:08. The french call it the CC 92000.
@@belgianrail1 It also operates on Caledonian Sleeper services.
When The Class 373 Was Leaving Ebbsfleet International There Was A Class 700 In The Distance On The Bridge
Great video. ☺️
Thanks very much :)
@@CHOO-CHOOPlane Ur welcome. ☺️
Great video. Shame there's so much platform furniture at ebbsfleet. Great video nonetheless
I’ve never seen anyone get off a train at Ebbsfleet 😂
i got off a train at ebbsfleet yesterday lol
And to think they ran Eurostar there. 🤣🤣
3:59 that shit sounds like a spaceship or something 💀
On this day i was over 2000 miles away in Odessa, Ukraine. From the UK East Midlands to Odessa by rail, and back of course.
Next year, January 11th, 2020, I'm booked on the 12:52 Eurostar 9133 Brussels-Midi - London St. Pancras service, and it's booked with E300
Nice! I hope it goes well and safe travels :)
So, how'd it go?
@@MikeWillSee - Perfectly.
How ddi you know it was a 373
@@belgianrail1 E300 is a 373 and E320 is 374

Why do some couplers have yellow markings on both sides and some don't?🤔
9:37 How come a Javelin’s travelling that fast with marker lights ? 🤔 They’re supposed to be used only in depots/ shunt movements
why dont you get onit for a few stops, c if the captain lets you film driver veiw
Cute euro star and southeastern
I love Ebbsfleet International
When the eurostar class 374 e320 goes through the sound is like the mimic 0:47
27:22 the kickdown of the eurostar 373 (tmst)
Any idea why there was a freight train at the end? I thought this line was only for high speed trains?
HS1 is for high speed trains and international freight traffic since the channel tunnel is the most efficient way of getting goods to and from the UK
@@CreatorPolar I was thinking this the other day, the way HS1 operates is more like a traditional mainline than a proper high speed line, albeit at higher speeds. It has a mix of express (Eurostar), regional (southeastern) and freight, all operating at different speeds, so, whilst faster than a traditional mainline, the manner in which it operates is pretty similar!
@@MikeWillSee I would call south eastern high speed more of a REX (regional express) than a traditional regional train, because of its fairly long distances between stations (on the HS1 section)
@@CreatorPolar that's a fair point actually, but nonetheless, the line carries a fair mix of stuff, when a traditional high speed line would only carry express
The eurostar 374 and 373 is high speed trains everytime I go to Brussels to take the ice train 0:36
Why did the 395s skip Ebbsfleet?
Delayed rail switch incl
2:19 was that Me or did that 395 have a hornby sticker on it?
@44F1Lewis /1iamsadbecuase thanks, I saw it irl not long ago at ebbsfleet international ( one of my locals)
Why does Eurostar go to ebbsfleet and where does it go after that?
Ashford
left = Stratford, then St Pancras
right = Ashford, Lille Europe, Bruxelles Midi, Rotterdam Centraal, then Amsterdam Centraal
2:30 why does the 395 go through Ebsfleet?
During certain times the train dosent stop there mostly rush hours and because the station is useless in general
Because they are sometimes diagrammed to not always stop there and to run express

No

The 373s look and sound nicer than the 374s imo. I find the designs of many new trains to be somewhat regressive.
21:16 look is a 700 there back
Hi
If anyone would take the eurostar to St Pancras to ebbsfleet international would you still need a passport
Eurostar no longer stops however you couldn’t travel domestically on Eurostar and this remains the same

The 374s look and sound excellent than the 373 eurostar.
