  • *URBAN TRAIL SERIES
This is the first upload of my urban trail series where I'll be exploring MTB trails, paved bike paths and gravel trails, nestled among the urban landscape of the Ottawa area and other cities nearby.
In this video. I'm exploring the trail network of Billberry Creek, a multi-use trail system located in the heart of Cumberland/Orleans suburbia. This area consists of trails running through a large, forested valley. The main trails are a mix of single track and larger gravel paths, with a few raw single tracks snaking through the network.
It's important to note that this is a multi-use trail network in the middle of a suburban area which gets a lot of foot traffic, including people walking pets. Remember to be courteous and mindful of other users. Thank you :)
*This edit has been shortened for better flow. Nothing major has been left out, only slower flatter sections with less flow or long up hills and climbs have been omitted.

Been there a couple times. Went in through the Reine des Bois school yard. Its decent and I could see the eb coming in handy. I prefer the longer drive to Larose.

I really wish we had a network similar in size to SMH here in Orleans. Bilberry is just small and many trails that start interesting often come to an impassible end. Wish the trails expanded further on both sides of the creek and further South from Des Epinettes.

if you're living out that way, it would be a good place to do some quick laps, test new bike settings out etc. not really a true MTB network... I had fun though. I'm a sucker for pine tree's and valley's. Just needs to be 6000ft higher :P

@@bikeninja956 I'm only a few minutes from there and ridden it a few times, I lose interest in there pretty quickly. It's just unfortunate there's no half decent network within riding distance in Orleans, so the only option is to load up and drive 30 min to either Larose or SMH. Bilberry cloud be better if more of the trails on Trailforks were actually passable.
