Because it doesn't use gunpowder and ignition to propel bullets, spy didn't need tech either because a good old stab doesn't need tech either.
This is so amazing how Winglet manages to mix 2 different stories into one, and also, he ALWAYS puts a demo with a party hat on! Amazing!

Can we just appreciate fact that the red mercs just single handedly stopped an alien invasion before it even started while attempting to find the spy's worst nightmare
I mean they did fight the robot invasion, another alien invasion, saxton hale outrage, the blu ongoing war against them, 2fort is conspiracy theory about launching rockets to Arizona.
And helping Android users win the 2010s war against apple, don't know if that true.
So its becoming not impressive to see them fight an alien invasion.

The lengths of which the TF2 mercs are willing to go to for each other has me convinced that they're not just friends, they're family. Family is who you choose, and love the most. And the mercs literally went to space in a scrapheap to save one of their own. That is a family I would love to be a part of.

The thing is that Valve gives their devs complete freedom on their projects. So if they get bored of, say, making Half Life 3. They move on to a different project.
And it sounds funny as fuck. But if you want the devs to do something for TF2 they'd have "to be in the mood" for it LOL

How do you get that font?
Imagine a TF2 map where you’re “Burning through space”, and BLU and RED Team both have spaceships, and BLU’s objective is to destroy the other team’s spaceship. As always, red is defending, and in order to “defend” their ship, they need to have at least two engineers, because the two engineers will have to work together to keep the ship repaired. Everytime RED successfully repairs the ship, 3 minutes are removed from the clock. BLU will have to stop them, and everytime they destroy a part of the ship fully, (where RED can no longer repair it), 3 minutes are added to the clock. BLU team wins once RED’s engine is destroyed fully. RED team wins if they managed to defend long enough for their ship to survive, allowing RED’s weapon systems to Eliminate the BLU spaceship.
