Great editing. “One thousand foot lbs”. lol
Yes, gotta get those specs right. Lol. I'll never hear the end of it if I don't. Lol.
Maaannn....I was wondering if anyone else was laughing as hard as I was when I heard that.
@@DJChuckT lmfao I'm dying man
According to the Amazon description.
1000 fastening
1400 busting
What does the official Milwaukee site say?
*Awesome impact **MyBest.Tools** Takes tires off in a second. Plenty of power for what I’ve used it for - rotating tires. Using it on 3rd setting for removal and 2nd setting for tightening lugs.*
I keep mine on first setting since i believe it is rated for upto 70ft/lbs but thats USUALLY what comes into the shop. Second setting for larger vehicles 👍🏽
I used czcams.com/users/postUgkx4ynqaujg7rZKFapA8s29kTpRszJGa3-K this for the first time today to replace the front wheel bearing on my rwd 98 dodge dakota. This had absolutely no issue removing or reinstalling the lug nuts and it took off the axle nut without any struggle. Sounds like it's got some muscle to it. Time will tell
I believe that’s the strongest impact wrench out right now beating Milwaukee
I started buying milwaukee a few years ago and haven’t looked back. I have the stubby m12 half inch impact and it gets the job done
Nice video, informative. I just purchased the tool only from Amazon for my Christmas present as I do all the maintenance I can on our 3 vehicles. This will help a lot. I got the Neiko torque extensions to go along with it. I already have two M18 batteries as all my cordless tools are Milwaukee.
Thanks for sharing!! Helps me to decide with confidence.
I bought one last month and I like it good review bro.
Just what i wanted to hear
On how it the settings works
Thanks man
Now that’s a proper review
Useful video! 🎉
congrats! nice video
that is my main tool at the shop my favorite tool so far from Milwaukee. and found mine brand new for 180. just the tool
Great tutorial!
I watched a few chainsaw videos of yours in the past, I see we dig a lot of the same tools, great review
Thank you!! 👍👍👍
Bought one last week as part of a kit came with two batteries and a charger for $800 less the cost of a six pack
Thankyou!!
I got one last week, they had a rebate, buy 2 batteries and charger, get the tool free, soo I spent $350 for 2 5.0amp hr batteries/charger/tool, not a bad deal imo
Although I love Milwaukee I’ve had two take a shit for crap for their motor issue then trigger issue .
Lowe’s has a dewalt 1/2 impact 1200ft lbs it’s a kit with charger and battery 199.99
Got both the mid and high torque 2767, Reality is that the mid torque does not get everything off. Seized bushing (rear shock on a 2010 Santa Fe..upper bolt), had the 2767 hitting hard for almost a minute before it came off. No way it would have come off with the mid torque. You soon realize one gun cannot do it all....the mid torque is nice for 90% of the work, but the other 10% is where you waste a lot of time, and get frustrated.....unless you have the big gun.
Yeah you are correct. It's nice having so much power. I have found bolts that this tool wouldnt remove. I guess I'll need one that they use to take semi wheels off with lol.
@@Lanninglongarmmowing Rust is the disease, the 2767 is the cure.
I needed this comment so much as I'm on the fence about the high t or the mid t cuz u don't have money like that but if ima buy something I want the cold hard truth
Great video is it fine to torque on mode 3 on regular vehicle a sedan
What will happen if you use the reverse mode to drive forward?
Nice video! Just wanted to say your voice sounds identical to Andrew Camarata
Thank you. Wow. That's quite a compliment. I love watching Andrew.
I just bought one and I tried it out that's he's going to break my sockets bolts nuts studs everything it touches
what sockets are you using, having a hard time figuring out what is and isn't comparable
Harbor freight
Impact. Chrome sockets will lock onto hog rings
TO ALL WHO WANT TO BUY THIS ONE!!!
They updated this tool to a garbage version. With cheap, weak parts.
If you buy one make sure you get the H96A And not the H96B serial.
Last week i bought one after all these good reviews and it broke on the first nut. So got a new one under warranty that only lived for a hour. 3rd one broke at the stores parking lot with the manager watching. So after checking the manual it seems that there is a new version released without any notice from MILWAUKEE.
im suprised you didnt get the 5.0 amp hour battery. i get about a month or so out of a full charge
I use up a 5Ah on taking off two tires on my truck. The 9 or 12 puts it in a completely different division.
@@WeldingForJesus i can honestly tell you theres something wrong with your tool or battery, i just took off all the wheels on my truck with a 4.0 amp hour battery and its still showing 4 lines, they where torqued exactly to 103ft/lbs by me.
@@Berto-1117 I think I see the difference. Mine are torqued around 650-700 Nm (that should be around 480-500 ft lbs if my memory is right), with 10 nuts per wheel it does consume some energy.
@@WeldingForJesus its still so off though, i have removed all the wheels on my father in law's peterbuilt and it does it with half a charge on the battery, and those are torqued down to a similar number to yours. Im not deffending milwaukee, in fact im not a huge fan of them, but their tools have no issues when it comes to power and battery life. Milwaukee's issue has always been trigger problems with me
@@Berto-1117 I usually like Milwaukee, on a dozen or so tools, only problem I had was the gearbox on the gen3 fuel drill that gets stuck between gears every now and then.
I wasn't really unhappy with the impact wrench until now. 🤣
It is weird though: if the tool was drawing too much power then my 9Ah and 12Ah batteries should drain quicker also but they run a looong time. But if it was faulty 5Ah batteries then I managed to get 4 batteries from 2 batches that are all flawed. It ain't impossible, but then I've been really unfortunate.
I use mine for about five different occasions but it don’t work no more the trigger doesn’t work
Send it in to Milwaukee to fix.
Any opionion on the Makita DTW1002 in comparison? Just curious as that's the brand I carry but I've thought about slowly switching over to Milwaukee.
Don’t switch . Makita is just as good , I’ve had two of these Milwaukee impacts fail me . I switched to dewalt and have not looked back .
@@Bigjamez2011Finally a not fake review, these reviews in these videos get ridiculously dumb , you know that the person doesn't wtf he's talking about, ( Oh did great, fantastic, awesome taking parts out Waw ) yeah which part🤔🙄... Lmao😝
What size drive socket do I use for this ?
1/2”
Does you internals move a little bit back n forth when u shake the impact?
Mine do. Apparently its the hammers inside that move (I asked on the Milwaukee page).
That’s what makes it have the break away power my friend. It makes it “hit” if you will.
Thats what I was wondering, mine does.
That was setting 4 and not setting 3 . I see the light for setting 4 lit and setting 4 is the one that slows after the lug breaks loose. At the very end see how setting 3 does not slow down. I own one.
Impact mode:Ft.Lbs
1: 0-100 Ft.Lbs
2: 0-450 Ft.Lbs
3: 0-1,000 Ft.Lbs
Reverse nut-buster: 0-1,400 Ft.Lbs
Explained by love boat.
How much did you pay for the tool only?
240ish??? I can't remember exactly. I remember it being over $200 bucks.
Love2boat92 Oh ok because it’s currently at 249$ tool only with a M18 5.0Ah battery included so I was wondering if people have gotten better deals than that...
I got the tool, battery, charger and Milwaukee bag for $310 at a local flea market. In NEW condition too.
Tool only is 199 Home Depot .
If you do diesel work , you need this , if regular gas car , it is too much
I actually ran into bolts this impact on its highest power setting wouldn't loosen. That was on my 1996 F-150. It will loosen most bolts. I've thought about getting something even bigger.
Brother took 5min to use the tools
I just don’t understand why the hell Milwaukee can’t make the battery fit tight to the impact? Brand new and the battery just floppin around…. U pay that much for a tool, it should be tight for a good while…..
Taking off ford truck tires is not a good review. Take some suspension parts off. Your truck tires takes only 120 ft lbs to put it on so I assume it will take double that to remove them.
2:54 - "needs rebuilt"... you're clearly from Pittsburgh :)
1000 ft- lbs for 140ft- lbs lugnuts? Maybe a ryobi p61 300ft- lbs 🤔 😁
Have you guys heard "You could drain your battery by placing the unit with it's battery on the ground?" I try not to put my battery tools directly on the ground because of that.
....what?
callal0u
Haha, what are you on about?
I heard your nuts fall off from lying on you tube...just what i heard
That's car batteries you don't place on the groung not lithium power tool batteries.
They have rubber insulation on the bottom of the battery.
That's a fancy tool for a dude with a 96 F150 lol
That battery looks fake and the GEN three is 1400 and the GEN two is 1100 foot pounds
Bla bla bla bla...
please no more reviews on anything....put your daddys tool up.
yo only 30 dislikes people, new viewer this is for you, im gonna give you the opportunity I was never given. Turn back now and find another review, this is trash. Besides the guy literally guessing the specs "I think mode 2 has 450 pounds", the audio going from one single ear to the other, you realize even in the moments where the audio isnt total shit from poor equipment and editing or false statements, you remember how annoying the guys voice is in the first place and the suffering continues
You talk too much
Those tires were good for another 5000 miles! No need to replace until the cord shows through. Can't figure out why my sister won't let her kids ride with me. 🤔🤔🤔
hosocat 1 lol
dumbass
Do you wait to replace socks till all your toes are showing 😂
@@nomercyinc6783 alright dude
Incredible how brainless people shows up !!
Love my high torque and stubby. Little disappointed in my mid torque used for the first time today couldn't get a few lugs off. Went back to high torque. I'm sure it's good in alot of areas but the high torque is the killer. Love the ratchet too
what battery where you using on the mid torque? i can get just about all lugs off with my 3/8 stubby, but with the bigger battery
@@cec4 5amp
@@cec4 I'm sure it'll get most of but I put them to the test on a really rusty customers vehicle. Just figured at 600 alot of other guns take it off but this one didn't. The high torque had zero trouble lol
The Mid-Torque is a nice smaller impact but is not as powerful as many on CZcams claim it is, maybe in areas that don't experience corrosion it has plenty of power.
High torque should be good for any job since you can turn it down to 100 and 400 lbs of torque Right?
Nice tool
I'm surprised you didn't get one at harbor freight!
i would say get the stubby or mid torque first, i can get lug nuts off just about anything ( even if there ugga uggaed on) with the 4.0 battery on the 3/8 stubby.
the high torque i bring out when shit gets real, i've only had to use it once.
also try to pick up the high torque at home depot when they throw in a large battery
I'm curious on why the 3/8 and not the 1/2
Great on nice clean lugs. Let's see that on 20 year old trucks that have been in the junkyard 7 years.
