There was fallout because he had to continue to address it on nightcap for like the whole week. There were ppl coming at him for the interview and some saying he should have pushed harder and things like that frfr.

At 3:30, the point Shannon makes about not cutting Katt off because he might lose his train of thought is excellent. It is also why so many of the system journalists *do* cut interviewees off. They are trained to guide discussion away from those the system protects. If they don't those who hire them won't keep them. That is why Katt went on Club Shay Shay, precisely because Shannon would let him say his piece and not run interference for the system. It is also why so many people watched the interview, because of Shannon's approach to letting Katt speak, they got real content speaking to the real things we all suspect but never are said in the mainstream. It is also why, when system drones like Steve A are rallied to protect the system, they do so trying to tell Shannon that he should not sell himself short and act more like he _is_ a journalist. They are not-so-subtly telling him he should have guided the discussion so Katt couldn't speak his truth.
Some people sell out and some don't and the ones that don't are a threat to the system and those that own the system use the ones they own to try to discredit them any way they can.

Shannon very confidently explained that not only is he not a journalist he is fully aware of his role, his platform, his audience and his intent.
Imagine how dope we would all be if we were comfortable in our own lanes.
This is 75% true. Where that can possibly go wrong, is if/when the person is speaking inaccurate comments. And people will say "oh well if he's wrong let it be proven" but that person has a responsibility ahead of time to NOT do that

That interview broke the Internet. The fallout is the fans with their open mouths, worshipping these celebs that now have some explaining to do. Katt opened up a lot of eyes and ears. And then the video receipts started showing up on CZcams. Showing Katt wasn't lying.

I think it just implies that it was a huge thing that effected a huge area. Fallout is what happens after a nuclear bomb is dropped particles are carried into the sky and eventually falls back down like dust or rain effecting a much larger area than where the bomb was dropped.

Why is Shannon feeling like he has to defend and explain himself? It isn't necessary. A detriment of today's society.
Shannon didn't really answer Pat's question but at the same did.
His answer was pretty much he knows his role as the host which is to let the interviewee express whatever opinion they have and allow the content to create itself which it did. He could have cut off Katt when he started to vent but, he knew it was best not to.

Kats conversation with Shannon was damn good. I feel like Kat wasnt lying. But thats just me...either way it was interesting to see someone like that vent about so many things he had issue with. Kind of inspired me to be a more honest person.

Katt claimed he tried to join the USMC at 13 lied and said he was 16 and passed boot camp at Camp Lejeune? Coming from an actual Marine he was high and lying out his ass.
Idk I could see it happening. When I finished AIT in the Army I was assigned to the hometown recruiting office for 45 days prior to being due at my permanent party duty station. I literally took the AZVAB for people who couldn’t pass it themselves every other weekend. Recruiter told me I didn’t have to come in the office just call once a week to let them know I was alright and they’d call me to take the tests when needed. Got several people jobs they had no business having with 85 and up scores.
