Truly appreciate your instructional video. I just got my sweet ride delivered and it’s so fun to drive with the top off! We are having a lot of afternoon showers so I am going to opt to just take the top down to the mid point for now. I’m so thankful for finding your video so I don’t break my new baby! The nice manicure made me feel I could do this too! Thx a ton!
Great step by step instruction. Thank you for taking the time to share. I bought a soft top OBX for my daughter in November. We are waiting for the weather to be nice enough to remove the top.
One thing she missed was the top of the side windows at the back door. You must put the window under the wire at the top when you push the clips in. You’ll know what I’m talking about as soon as you realize that the very top won’t go under the roof snug! I’m 5’1” and clipping that back window is the hardest part of the whole process for me. And also, make sure before putting them back on, you let the sun warm them up! Helps stretch it to close it off with the back window! Dealership had to help me out once and told me to do this from now on! It works!
Thank you for a great video! Great education right here. I ordered a Badlands with the Sasquatch package which has a hard top. I was fortunate enough to purchase an outer banks just a few weeks ago with a soft top while I wait for my order. Someone had backed out of their special order and the option to buy it was there so I did. Especially not knowing when my order would be built I figured it would be fun to get a soft top for the time being. Wouldn’t you know a week later I get a production notice for week of 09/26. Yay! So I have been learning a lot about the broncos. And I’m in love.
Thanks for watching Cathy! Our second one is also a hard top and it is scheduled for production this week but I am not going to hold my breath. You should be able to unload the OBX no problem.
Absolutely perfect. Exactly the way I do it -- not that there's many different ways to do it. I wondered if you would have the extra tip about getting the side panel back in. It takes a nice hard push to get that bottom corner in, but the rest of it easily locks in. And I don't have any roll bar scratches either. If you lift straight up (instead of up and toward the front of the car), you won't get any contact. And while it seems like a lot of work because you're showing all the step by step, it really only takes a couple of minutes.
Thanks for watching, Mike! My wife said that she had never experienced that issue with the side panels but people on the forums say that if you lay them flat out in the sun, they are more pliable.
You should definitely look into the IAG lift supports. I've installed a few sets on customers vehicles and they love them. Waiting for my set to come in so I can install when I swap to my soft top.
Sadly I scratched my pillar on the driver's side and could not getting it back up either. I took it to the dealership. I was sorry bummed I scratched it but didn't watch a video before I put it back up. Great video. Thank you
I appreciate her explaining while having that fresh Mani 😅 but also appreciate explaining and suggesting how to be careful with it. (Especially for us ladies) Thanks queen!
Great video! I was able to lower the top last week, left it down until today! Next up, slide the rear and side windows in after work. You made it look easy, big thanks!
I just got the VIN for my '22 Bronco - yee haw! lol Great to see quality videos on how to operate things. Looks like these windows are way easier to take on/off than the zippered up Wranglers! Thanks for the great video!
Do you do anything with the weatherstripping on the sides of the soft top about the door windows? It seems like it should hook somehow and not be loose. You can stick your hand between the layers.
Yes, you can reach your hand through. There is nothing additional to latch on the sides, except for where the hinges are to put it in the half back position. Thanks for watching!
Did this top come with your Bronco, or did you buy it from a third party? I just bought a 2024 Bronco and it has a modular hard top, which I love. However, I would also like a retractable soft top like this for Summer. The ones FORD currently offer do not retract all the way back like this.
Yes, this is the stock top. The Best top/fastback style tops don't retract all the way but Ford should still sell the factory style top. Congrats on the Bronco!
So I see u put the back 2 side panel/windows in the trunk but does the back window panel fit in the trunk ? Curious if all 3 removable window panels fit in the trunk so u can bring them with u .
Seems your top goes all the way back, and folds up over spare tire. I see the Besttop doesn’t seem to fold back that far? Is this a different top? If yes, where can it be bought as the Ford accessory tops appear to be the Bestop ones.
Yes, you can buy the factory soft top from the dealer. You just have to specify that you want the factory one and not the best top. My wife said there are a lot of people selling their factory soft tops on the Bronco forms, new in the box.
Please Reach out to me. I am 5’2 so I am not sure if I can reach that high. Plus how hard do you think it would be for me? I’ll keep watching the video over and over. I have long nails as well.
My wife is 5’5” and she could do it no problem standing on the running boards. If you don’t have any kind of step bars, you may need a small stool to reach. Thanks for watching!
It “should” we have never had a problem but they are recommended for highway speeds and off-roading. You can buy some double sided Velcro and it will do the exact same thing. Thanks for watching!

Hi - another question- when I put the top back on and latched it, it appears the edge of the top that runs along the driver and passenger doors isn’t sealed correctly. It’s like I can lift the edge up easily and I don’t remember it being that way before. This is the first time lowering it. Is this normal? I reopened it and closed to see if the first time it didn’t seal correctly but same thing - thank you

Hey Brian. Looks like the wife is taking over your channel. She looks comfortable making vids. Hoping that the only time we see you is not only during auto vlogs vids. 😂
Is this the retractable soft top? or is this the reg soft top? I am looking to order a Bronco, and wondering if the retractable upgrade is worth the extra funds?
This literally just talked me out of getting one. Thank God. The last thing I want is a complicated ridiculous process to get a top down and try to wrangle putting it back together. But more power to you.
Is it normal for it not to click/not latch like yours did at 6:38 when putting the top back on? Seems like my soft top is just a tad too far back when I’m putting it back on, but I’m still able to get it closed all the way🤔
It should click immediately when you drop it into the channel. You can get your top adjusted at the dealership. Basically the bracket can slide forward and back until it clicks without a problem.
Your video was great. However raising my soft top has never (not once) gone as smoothly as yours did. I’m very gentle but it’s almost like mine does not want to lift correctly. Not sure what gives.
Hi Lee - not sure what would be causing an issue raising it besides something being misaligned. Does it hit/scrape any of the bars in the when trying to put it up?
I noticed that when I have my top down the passeger side of the top does not lock flush. So when I'm driving it rattles. I noticed there is a pad for that part or the frame sits on and my passenger side the frame is not sittng on the pad which is causing the rattle. When my top is up there is a rattle with the cross support that is inbetween the front and backseat. Any suggestions as to what needs to be fixed or what I can do to fix this myself
is there anything we need to do along the sides when the cover is back on where the window meets the soft top? it looks like its just laying there does the soft top need to be secured along a track above the doors or just try our best to keep it laying flat?
Hi Robbie, no, above the door there is nothing to attach to. When you push the latch on the inside, that pulls the top down and presses the seal tight. Above all of the plastic windows there is Velcro that you need to be sure that you attach the whole way around.

Well, you just talked me out of a new Bronco (not like there are any available anyway)... Love the look, but that's like setting up/taking down a tent every time you wanna go topless. Guess I'm too used to pushing a button and 20 seconds later tops down--I can even lower/raise it driving up to 30 mph.
My wife loved this Bronco and didn’t seem to mind putting the top down. We ended up trading this one in on a hard top and she didn’t like it as much Then we traded that on a new MDX. Not sure why Ford can’t get this right, now they are offering people with existing Bronco orders $2500 not to buy it.
So far what is your experience with new big tires and wheels ?im planning to put also 35 inch wheels on my outer banks stock bronco wanna know your overall experience with it. Greatly appreciate it.How’s that fuel economy per gallon with the big tires?
The fuel economy went down considerably and they make a lot of noise. I am considering looking for a lighter weight tire. It’s gets around 16 mpg city and highway combined. He is a video explaining the install process. Thanks for watching! czcams.com/video/gm82GHOMU3I/video.html
FYI I just attempted 0mm offset with 35" K02s and they DO NOT FIT without the offset. Not a big deal for me as I already had a lift planned but thought I'd let you know.
Thanks for the video but after taking it back down one time for a day needing it back up, I now see that I will never take it down again. Sad I wasted my money on a window bag. They couldn't have made it more of a pain. even the side windows take all my might and manipulation to stretch them into place. Very sad, the only thing that didn't work out with the bronco.
@@PIPSBURGHVIEWS maybe I will try again when I have a bunch of time to fight with those side windows again. I was afraid I’d have to go to the dealer to have them put back on. When you get the front piece in they just do not reach to the back tab- I think that was my struggle looking back.
@@davidwerner3022 It sounds like the back piece probably isn't 'clicked in.' If it's not, the side panels won't reach. There is definitely a learning curve on these, but once you get it figured out, you won't regret it! Good luck!

Not sure why Ford can’t get this right, now they are offering people with existing Bronco orders $2500 not to buy it.
Thank you!
Thanks for watching!

FYI I just attempted 0mm offset with 35" K02s and they DO NOT FIT without the offset. Not a big deal for me as I already had a lift planned but thought I'd let you know.
Great video. Thank you.
Thanks for watching!
Can you just remove the back window without removing side windows ? like if your transporting long pieces of lumber for example .?
Yes
What trim is your bronco? Nice car
Outer Banks with the lux package, thanks!

Awesome video. Saved for when I take off in the summer. PS - Go Steelers

To put top all the way down do you have to remove back windows?
Yes, you do.
Great video, do yall have a lift on that
Thanks for watching! No lift, just had to remove the crash bars to fit the 35s

Thank you for sharing this video!
Thanks for watching!
You got a handy woman there.
I got lucky, she is pretty much good at everything.
Do we have to remove all the side and rear panels? Just to pit the top back
Half back no, all the way back, yes.
We have a Badlands that came on 33s did you do a lift to get 35s on? We would like 35s but don’t really want a lift.
No lift! Watch this one, it explains everything.
Great Video... Very informative...
Thanks for watching!
I am surprised you are having issues, my wife had hers off multiple time in one week with no problems.
Good luck!
Nicely done guys.
Thanks for watching!
I hate to bother you with this question but what wheel/tire specs is that? I have looked all through your video's and I may just be missing it.
Here you go!
