This should be part of award show that it can be put in its proper category...like best rock song or best rock album...not along with pop bands cuz eventually it will lose..you know? POP = Korean music industry XD }:c who set sail the sales gets the reward.
They're getting more recognition recently but I think the Kindustry chooses to focus on KPOP + the Gov wont allow rock music to be popular again as it threatens them (censorship) they're really popular in Japan though
angel band is not everyone's cup of tea i guess. but they're at least known in korea and internationally and quite famous in japan so they're doing good :) but i def agree. their ability is 🔥🔥🔥
Both of the band's vocalist (CNBLUE & FT.ISLAND) has really a voice,you know what I mean.But Hongki has this more powerful voice that you can't get off.All you can do is to listen to his voice and get impressed all over and all over again.And whole of the Ft.Island produces good songs and rock songs that can really get your attention.

Muneerah Alhasawi It is NOT irrelevant just because it isn't big compared to Korean music shows, The Show actually proves their fame overseas anyway. Also, they won on an asian music awards against exo as the most popular asian band. The album also did well on the charts. Put in mind that they did that with FNC's lack of promotions AND their genre (rock) is NOT popular in Korea at all. I do agree tho that FNC is the shittiest with them and if they actually give them a little bit of decent promotions, they would've slay with this comeback but oh well.

That was awesome. It would have been more amazing if we could see Hongki's eyes. His eyes are so emotional with the little glimpse I saw. It would totally be so emotional if we could see his eyes throughout
I'm so glad FT Island still sticks to their roots after all this time, pity people can't seem to get past the modern songs with rap and very basic singing. Especially the annoying synthesized music. Each song of theirs has some sort of surprise in terms of visually or of the music schematic. And for those who doesn't really like hardcore rock like I do, (some) of their Japanese songs are much more lyrical. Keep on singing and making awesome music as long as you can you guys!! :D
this is what I love about them. We had severely which was really sad, then freedom in Japan which was amazing, to the light which brought their yearning, pray showing their desperation, puppy which was their silly side, you don't know who I am which was quirky and playful in the video editing and very upbeat. Every time is something different, its so much fun to listen to them. Especially these last two years, I think they have produced some of their best stuff.
From my understanding, there just isn't enough time on music shows for bands to properly tune their instruments or set up equipment for a real live performance. I'm really glad that they still go all out and play anyways so it looks real. If they sound this good with just the vocals live, how amazing is a real live performance?

I love CNBLUE too, and there was even a time when they were more rock then FtIsland (when they had I'm sorry and I think Ft had I wish) but Cn has been leanibg towards more soft pop rock mellow things lately. Which makes sense with their influences... but I've been much prefering ft's unpredictability and more rock sound lately as they jave been getting more creative control over their music
I can't say it enough...FINALLY F.T Island was able to show their true colors and potential!! This song, this album, was amazing...I felt like crying from happiness when they released the MV and it turned out to be this kind of song...and every song on the album is strong..

I felt this too....(i was impressed that i can't imagine myself listening to korean rock sound)...i think this is more k-rock than all those k-band i listed.....even the famous one CNBlue?...but i guess rock is not well praise in korea specially this kind of rock sound...but i found my rock band and it was in this vid.
I really don't get how these guys aren't more popular. Hong Ki has amazing voice to say the least. They have everything! K music industry needs more of the rock driven artists. Whenever i come across an act that does rock influenced stuff, they are REALLY good. The industry needs some variety there. It's all just boy groups and dance stuff. I don't even remember how i found out about these 5 treasures but i fell in love instantly. I think it was Arrirang, or maybe somethign else, "Bad Woman" was the song, and that voice had me HOOKED.
No matter what music I get into or what "style" I'm currently a fan of, there is nothing sexier then a rock singer showing off his pipes. Hongki makes me what to throw my bias list out the window with this song.
