वडापावचा जन्म मुंबईत झाला असला तरी संपूर्ण देशात हा पदार्थ तितकाच लोकप्रिय आहे. बटाट्याची भाजी आणि पोळी खाण्याच्या ऐवजी या भाजीचे गोळे बेसनात कालवून ते तेलान तळून बटाटेवडा बनवण्यास सुरूवात झाली. तेव्हापासून वडापाव हा प्रत्येकालाच आपला वाटतो. आज (23 ऑगस्ट) आंतरराष्ट्रीय वडापाव दिनाच्या निमित्तानं पुण्यातल्या 135 वर्ष जुन्या वाड्यातील वडापावाविषयी पाहूया विशेष रिपोर्ट.
