- When It comes to sneakers, I've been a fan for as long as I can remember. Ever since watching Michael Jordan hooping as a kid, I've been hooked.
Over the years the sneaker culture has boomed from a once small niche, into a multi billion dollar business, with tons of people now making a nice size bag off them.
But, success comes with its drawbacks, and the sneaker industry is not amine to the ills of popularity.
Last week I came across a channel that some of you may have seen called Not Trippin and they had a video, a few videos actually, proclaming the lameness of the sneaker industry as he sees it and it got me thinking, is he right? Are influencers really killing sneaker culture?
So today, I'm gonna switch up the format a bit and so something I've never done, a reaction video. Is "sneaker culture" finished? Let's find out.

most of these influencers pretending to be sneakerheads just for clout
Sneaker culture is not finished. But what I want to tell everyone is that wear something that's retail value or below retail value. Don't buy into hypes. Because every month there will be a new colorway or a new material shoe on the same silhouette. Don't worry if you miss in raffles. Move on and try for the next.
When you start doibg rhat resellers will have a hard time and then there will be time whe yoh can get uou favourite shoes at detail prices itself. Till then keep enjoying what you get because sneaker is not about what others love to see on you but what you live to see on yourself.
I think the sneaker game peaked in the 2000s. Since this stock-x age took effect, originality has been lost. Everyone just goes nuts over rappers shoes no matter what they look like and makes everything “hype” impossible to get and frankly over-valued. And every NBA player just releases what looks like some kinda team version of a Kobe.
didn't expect this haha, good idea for a vid

Honestly I NEVER cared about being a sneaker head. Actually sneaker heads are losers to me cuz why have a closet full of sneakers EVERYONE has!?! I'll chase whats rare or what looks cool but what ppl aren't buying. My secret weapon is the Air Max Plus. No sneaker comes close to the look and comfort of that shoe.
You lame
