Little Mix are creating six different bands to follow in their footsteps and become the next global superstars - the winners will join them on their next UK tour. This time, the search is on for a band who not only sing but also play instruments. Each musician is auditioned individually, put through their paces alongside other band hopefuls, and following a gig in front of a live crowd, band four is chosen.

How Dia wanted to succeed in the Vocal Instruments category without showing her talents with instruments? It makes no sense to me. In the end, Jacob and Harry are the ones I really loved the most even though Dia's vocals are INSANE. Loving it.

Once again, Little Mix didn’t miss with who they picked to be in the final band. They’ve honestly done so well. Personally, I was looking at Patrick a little sideways ever since he came into the next round with that cold after playing hockey. I just felt it showed a little lack of seriousness and commitment. However I did like him v much in the audition and there’s no doubt he’s an amazing singer so no harm no foul 🤩

@Anne Day Why should someone give up a hobby? Did Louis from One Direction give up on attending Doncaster Rovers games? No, he got more involved. Regardless, the fact that Patrick pursued BOTH shows more commitment. Where was the clause saying he can't be fit and active?

i was hoping to see dia with some sort of drum set or electronic pads or even a mpc to bring some percussion to the band along with her voice. regardless, there is talent all around with every member of every band, cheers to little mix for showcasing it to the world with this show
I feel like they didn't see her potential, they thought she was just a singer .
I'm sure she would get to play as soon as the group becomes official. I love to see her drumming next to Ashton

As much as I love Billy, he deserves to be a solo act. Like an Ed Sheeran type. So I can understand why he didn’t get put through. He never seemed like band material to me. But I certainly would buy his solo record.

i knew that they were not going to let go of harry when they were announcing the final line-up for their vocal and instrument group! i also know that some people were a bit upset that dia didn't make the cut, but i can definitely see why little mix decided not to put her through 💔
i love how little mix judge fairly, squarely and honestly. when i was watching the first episode on TV, my mum said "it's all about the looks", but i know it's all about who sounds great together and gels together. little mix has been in this industry for almost a decade and they know what works and what doesn't

Yea Dia’s voice is too sweet. It can’t work with a group with singers who have strong voices. She’d do good as a solo artist though, I agree.

Glad Patrick made it through, he was my favourite in the concert round! Would have been nice if this also happened to be a mixed group, but unfortunately I think Dia isn't as strong as the other boys in the category.

Jacob, Harry, and Patrick are going to be explosive together. Matthew does have a star quality, but I don't think he has as much chemistry with the others and three guitars just seems like so many. I really hope one of them can also play bass or drums. Either way, Little Mix delivers another great band.

I felt that Harry, Jacob, Patrick, Billy and Matthew would have formed a better group. Or even without Matthew.
But the girls have been in the industry for a long period of time, they know what works and what doesn't so I guess let's see what this band has got.

Aww I loved Billy soo much but I think he would be an amazing solo artist and his songwriting skills are fantastic so I think they picked well! Also, Love Mathew and think I he works really well with everyone else's voices. But Dia was sad to see her go cause I think this was just the wrong group for her, she would excel better in the mixed group or girls group cause she has an amazing voice.

i literally knew this has to be the final group, and boy i was beyond happy when LM thought the same thing!! These 4 will make an insanely good looking band both vocally and personality wise. just hope patrick gets more serious about the competition. i am more than elated with how the bands are shaping upp fr!! can't wait for the next ones. also can i just say the song choices are EMMACULATEEEE

If they had let Dia play the drums she would have been through. I don't know if it was her choice to not do that even though she said that she could, or if the producers made the decision to not have that happen, but I feel like both she and the group lineup lost because of it. I feel like the lack of drummer, when this group is supposed to be more like a band, is really disappointing
I was expecting one guitar, one bass, drums, piano...I am fine with more than one guitar but yes I also feel let down

@@shanleyfuentes8570 I understand that the producers put her in the vocals/instrument group, but my question is still whether the producers allowed her to play the drums, or if she just chose not to even though she said that she could. For the second audition in the studio with the others, and for the performance, being on drums would have really made her stand out and given the group more of a "band" feel, as opposed to a cluster of guitarists. I don't think it would have mattered if they had her audition for any of the other groups because I can't see her vibing with the others they've selected for the girl group or the mixed group. I feel like her best chance would have been with the drums, and I find it interesting that she didn't play them when it probably would have given her an edge.

I really believe they dropped the ball on this one. It should have been 5 piece and dia should also be in the band. We don't have many female fronted bands. And she could bring that something different. At the moment nothing stands out nothing makes them different from what's already out there. She also plays drums 🥁👀
@Anne Day she didn't refuse to show it, she stated everyone was already on guitars and keyboards, with her doing it, it would have been so to much. Clearly little mix should have insisted she play something. Could have given her the drums. She was set up to fail on this one. The song choice keys were suited to the males. She was given only one small verse near the end, stuck on the end and not in the middle. I think they're all talented, however nothing about them jumps out. For me personally I would have picked dia, Jacob, Patrick, Harry

@Anne Day let's agree to disagree but youll see during the live shows it was a mistake, 3 frontmen, no drummer, they're going to fight, all wanting to take the lead. They do not stand out whatsoever, nothing about them screams different from what's out. Missed opportunity
All of them play guitar, absolutely nonsense. Unless one of them gonna start playing a drum set it ain't going to work
