I know that feel man... I'm honestly thinking about picking it up again with a friend of mine. I just haven't played anything like it again. I played Post Scriptum, Verdun and Tannenberg, Rising Storm 2 (disliked it a lot btw, I just can't see what's going on) and Darkest Hour (mod for Red Orchestra 1). But Red orchestra 2/rising storm feel so good... Why is that? Maybe is the gunplay? Maybe is the scale? (not to big not too small) I dunno...
Back in 2012 I remember seeing this game being advertised in the killing floor 1 lobby, saved up my birthday money and my christmas money to buy a slightly better but horrible cheap 350$ dell desktop with an integrated graphics card just to play this game since the family PC couldn't run this game at the time, best decision I made because this game blew me away with how good it was, shame I don't think I'll ever come across a game like this ever again

I purchased this game in a steam sale in 2014. Hated the game, too confusing, and the bad optimization increased my despise for it. Only now, in 2023, i gave a second chance, and what happened: I'm in love with this game!!! Playing almost every day. A truly incredible gaming experience, the best shooter you can find.
Hell Let Loose and Post Scriptum really don't come close to this. I played this all the time when I was a PC Player. These days I play my Xbox Series X and PS3, and I'm into collecting old consoles. But this game was incredible. The Normandy Addon was also quiet good and of course the Pacific. I loved the Iwo Jima map.

Hey, thank you man! I for sure learned alot from Plupp, regarding how to play rifleman and how to approach certain maps. As for movement you develop own habits over the years and find a way that feels good to you. I dont think you can get that musclememory to move like someone from spectating or playing against them. :)
@@naeptii6143 You can learn alot just by playing and create your own style. It is sort of like life, trial and error, and you just create your own way as you go along. I am old school. Some of the guys in the beginning like Rambozo and Lucky Kill were the ones I played with. I suspect they were part of the development team as the game was only out a month or two and these guys and a few others were already 99s. Either that or they were unemployed living in their parents' basement.
Some high tier gameplay you got there. Though, I must admit, I probably wouldn't bother sticking around if I was faced with opponents like this. The match is kinda a forgone conclusion at that point, just pain on my end for the rest of the match.
It's fore sure not easy to get into RO2 these days as new player, when the main playerbase is playing it for multiple years. But at evening hours in EU there should always be enough veterans online to keep the games balanced and fun for everybody. New players can always join the RO2 community discord and ask for help or how to improve. There are more than enough experienced players, who'll be glad to offer their help :)
@@naeptii6143 Uhh, thanks, I guess? I don't think I'd consider myself exactly a "fresh blood" considering I've gotten a bit less than 270 hours under my belt. But I'd still say that facing an enemy with your skill level at aiming would leave me face-down in the dirt before I even had the chance to register that an enemy was even there
Good to you that you dont bother play on lowest. I need to play on the lowest for 60fps, but my eyes can't accept it LOL, so i play Medium with 32 fps.

You can set it to high or ultra, wont matter much Texture quality: high Shadow quality: medium Ambient occlusion: off Post processing preset: enhanced Lighting quality: keep above low. Medium or high recommended. *These should keep the game running a bit smoother while still looking decent.*
that is the only servers that get full sometimes, you can get on an american server with decent ping, but with 10 or rarely, 20 players. And many bots kkk

i wish they remaster it with BFV graphics
there are some guys porting whole RO2 into RS2 engine, thats the most you can hope for graphic wise
