I used to watch Steve Harvey with my Mom and this is the first time I've watched him since I lost her 14 months ago. So I'm laughing and crying at the same time. It's worth it to remember her laughing out loud.

I have actually HAD people think my husband was my son.
The first time he was driving 3rd shift taxi, and was dropping me off at the 24 hour grocery, on the way to take a drunk couple home from a bar. When they got in the man said, "Oh that's nice, you brought your mom along."
My husband was offended and said, "That's my WIFE." The guy was very apologetic.
Trying to mitigate the situation I said, " It's ok, I AM older than him."
To which my still pissed husband snapped, "Just 6 months." I think I was the least upset person in the car.
My husband and I have been married for 44 years. Unfortunately I got bad aging genes, and HE got good aging genes. He STILL has a full head of hair with not one gray in it (only his beard is starting to go gray), while I'M the one that's gray and balding.🤷 Someone mistaking me for his mom is totally understandable, I actually look my age while HE could pass for 40-45.
