This is what happens when you take events to Europe vs the US. The US don't cheer for their fighters, probably because there's so many of them I guess but I think it's also a bit of a cultural difference. This was so awesome it actually makes me wish the UFC did more events there. Countries in Europe just have completely different atmospheres, they will fucking scream as loud as they can for an athlete of their nation and they always have awesome chants. It's part of the reason why watching football (soccer) here is so cool, the fans are waaay louder and more active than they are in the US, there are a few good videos that actually compare the crowds in different sports between European countries and America.
There's chants here but it's mainly insulting ones. Sometimes NBA fans chant MVP when someone's shooting free throws that's about it. It's usually to say fuck you mostly
