Hi! I was asked the same question and my answer was this; I mainly used to use the platform called interpals like a decade ago i tried hellotalk and italki too. I talked to both non native English speakers and native English speakers. Any platforms you currently use?
@@hunji._ Thank you for responding to me. I haven’t heard of InterPals, does anyone use it nowadays? I’ve been taking online classes on NativeCamp to practice speaking with tutors. I’m planning to use HelloTalk or other apps after improving my speaking skills a bit more and gaining confidence to talk to strangers🙂

I find it weird too, talking to people from my own country in English. And if we are to find someone from some other place, which you say you also did, you might as well take the initiative of creating a community for such people. We would highly appreciate that. A WhatsApp group or something of the kind and we can have regular sessions talking to each other. What do you think?
Hi! You relate to my story :) and yes, you’re suggesting exactly what I was thinking of creating. I was thinking how to make it, if i create, helpful and engaging with one another. When I plan to make one, I’ll announce it in the “community” section on my channel. hope to see you there! Thank you for the comment and idea🧡
@@hunji._ I'd rather the discord app for this. But live chat can be daunting due to time zones. And it's good to have at least one articulated and uninhibited person to keep the conversation going. Asynchronous activities may be interesting. Someone records an audio diary, then another tries to transcribe it, and next another creates variations or improvements.
@@itacirgabral1687 I like this idea!! I wouldn’t want my community to be messy with different activities going on all together at the same time, might be confusing😳 You’ve joined some communities or clubs? Would you be interested in being that articulated and uninhibited one?
Good teacher
