- In this episode, my sister decided to learn how to cook some of mommy's traditional dishes. She learned how to cook curry goat, saigan with aloo and saltfish and sada roti. All the dishes came out excellent.

Hey Vedesh. Thanks for showing this cooking class. So, remember when I asked you if everyone in the Vedesh gang can cook and you said, without naming names, that two of them can't cook. I believe now it might Shivani and Nicki because I have never seen either of them cook. Poor Shivi. I didn't think she put too much cumin in it. I love a strong cumin taste and fresh thyme. She has to learn how to handle the pot. As for the sada roti, I think she did well for her first time. The most exciting part was to see her roti swell. The only thing is that Helen needs to be a little hands off when teaching. You did well, though, by guiding and giving her instructions. All's well that ends well. Food looked good and by watching you and David eat, it must have been delicious. Love my sada roti with butter too. Well done Shivi. Practice makes perfect. It's 1:00 a.m. Sunday and it was so much fun.🇹🇹🇨🇦

Good job Shivi, but 1 tip have everything out and ready, so it will be close by when you need it. So measure out all your spices etc and have them on 1 plate and add in the order you need it.
Auntie Helen is such an awesome cook, but like Shivanie can’t even turn a pot hahahaha, she will learn!

This was great!! Well done Shivani..you did well for the 1st time. Whenever I am teaching my son to cook something I dare not put my hand in it..I will get serious buff. I am a lot older than Helen and she cooks very different to the way I learnt from my mother..but her food is tops always so no matter the method the final result is what matters. Shivani will improve with practice. Well done I LOVE saijan.. I also add a little coconut milk. Some more of these Vedesh👌👌
