Anurags point of view about Working with Shahrukh in this interview is so so genuine and professional. But the title is so misleading to grab the attention. Real issue arises when people don't see the content and believe in the thumbnail Text which is there to attract viewers. The pros and con of media are the 2 sides of the same coin.

I can argue that even people have 2 sides, akin to a coin. While you are of the opinion that a deep retrospect of his past controversies and interview have more than meets the eye and reveal a much more genuine persona, I see his bias and inclination towards a particular mindset and subgroup as toxic, perverted and misinformed. He undoubtedly has made pieces that have artistic value (cinematography, music, acting), however, as someone who doesn't separate the art from its artist, I say his films have even more pessimistic and demeaning world views and display of qualities than we have in reality. People aren't caricatures, when often in his films they are portrayed as one. That's a critique of his writing too, because somewhere his films fall flat because he caters to specific narrative. So I am not surprised that click baiters find him enticing, in some ways, he and click baiters fuel each other's obsession with stardom and power.

100% agree with him - Pathan is seen only for SRK and we are satisfied and happy for him (SRK). Even with all the hype of the villain, without SRK, this flm would have been a big FLOP.

It is connected - just public get tired of that politics
It is true. Most people see Boycott trend as an extension of ruling party but it has done more harm to it than any good. Social media is box of hatred where some loud and toxic people scream and most of us are passive consumers. Many of us start to believe that it is a representation of real life.
Boycott trend never worked in the first place outside of social media it is just that people go to hall selectively but people start to believe it workd just because of social media noise. Hope that it will finally end with Pathaan sucess.

Most probably Bombay Velvet failed because producers and distributor had creative difference with him. The idea of star power is dangerous when it hampers art. Then the art has no value. Its the star who act as a logo in the film to boost its value.
