If only I could go... I would be delighted to find a Garnet Crystal... All I have right now are Amethyst Cluster... But I bought them which is horrible and I would totally dig and prospect for them... If I was old enough and if I had the money right now I would fly myself to Australia or The Gem Mines and work my ass off trying to ding gemstones, geodes, clusters, druzy, and Garnet Balls...
But other than that... Great Video!... You earned a New Subscriber!

Thank you for watching Peridot Sanchez and thanks also for the sub. Just like I used to do, buying gemstones at first is a good way to get into the hobby as a means of familiarizing oneself with different gems and minerals. Prospecting for them yourself and finding something that no one else has touched or held before is an entirely different ball game. Good luck and hope you get to do some prospecting yourself when you get a bit older. Wishing you all the very best, Liz

Depends on individual pieces. Thanks for watching.

Don't you want to industrialize a site like this when you find it? I mean Wal could come up with a gold-like sorting system and all you'd have to do is dump bucketloads in there to leave with truckloads of garnets everyday. They aren't super expensive so you'll have to depend on the quantity.

We only do this for a hobby and would not enjoy it anymore if we have to do this for a living. We'd rather explore the many different gemfields rather than have to stay in one area for an extended period of time.Cheers, Liz

Well, it's certainly seems like a profession in your videos. I guess, because you seem to mine more often then most hobbyist. I enjoy your videos. I've often wondered about the annual value in stones you think you accumulate. You don't have to answer of course, it just seems like you find quite a bit of stones and outside looking in it certainly looks as if it could be your "living". Green with envy! Lol
