Tatiana being the main character of S2's, definitely a top 3 reunion
I so agree about Season 10 being the worst. It just made me feel uncomfortable. The way they dealt with Vixen and how they really did not adress the very valid issues and to a much lesser degree ganging up on Kameron. And I get it is reality TV but at the same time people have the right to be introverts.
And I think what gave intensity to S9 and S10 reunions was that they were recorded AFTER the crownings. So especially the top 4 would behave so differently because they largely know the results.
I remember being mad because Asia was right about everything and Ru would not have it. Ru wasn't moderating, she was instigating.
Yea season 10 reunion was TOO real. Usually the drama is “lighthearted” he/she/they said type stuff, but season 10, the issues at hand were WAYY deeper than any other reunion. I feel like they tried to reel the drama back in by ganging up on kameron. You saw completely different sides to EVERYBODY that reunion, even rupaul, and even that wasn’t all that positive.

@@tm6221a Also Aquaria's behaviour which at least early on was just as problematic as Eureka's was never even addressed.
@@khaoticman4294 Vixen was making very valid points about how BIPOC but particularly black people are perceived not just by the drag race fanbase but by people in general. None of her points were given a platform, her concerns were barely addressed with Eureka's behaviour being an afterthought to RuPaul and only because Vixen brought the issue forward with such clarity that Ru could not ignore it. It was an excellent opportunity to address how racism colors our perception of aggression and instead it was used to punch down on a black activist. I am sorry but I am not entertained by that.
Season 9 reunion as a Valentina fan, that was such a hectic and crazy time 😂
2 is my favorite simply for these 3 moments:
- Tatianna going in on Raven + her crooked finger followed by Mystique going “Girrrrlll, security”
- Kylie coming out
- Nicole Paige Brooks saying “it’s just malicious gay f*****ry” 😂
As much as I love all of the reunions, I don't think anything can hold a candle to the absolute chaos and bufoonery that was Season 9 💀😭

"walking children in nature" is a great S1 reunion line, but i think we're forgetting the most iconic Tammie line-after RuPaul yelled at her, all she said was "excuse your mouth." you could tell Ru was PISSED that she said that but didn't have anything else to respond with. gagged. not many queens can stun RuPaul into silence.

What we don't talk about enough is that AJA CHANGED HOW MISS CONGENIALITY IS VOTED FOR! This was the last season it was voted on by the audience.
It makes more sense for the queens to vote on it. Although I think the audience did get it right on some seasons.

Season 9 had the best and strongest cast, the best season, and the best reunion.
i would also add something that i love and what stood out to me during the AS2 reunion is they tackled the orlanda mass shooting, which at the time, is a very scary time for the community. i think it’s one the catalysts when it comes to the show reflecting on current societal issues and give a spotlight to these instances

I remember watching the season 14 reunion and just watching Jasmine and Daya fighting… that was real that was real drama that was produced. They genuinely were fighting. It was said to see… and entertaining! Even other moments felt like… how did Ben put it. A knock at reality TV that was perfectly tailored for reality tv.
Season 9 is still my favorite by far, reunion and finale both very iconic

I think we all knew season 9 would come first. I also love season 2, almost entirely for Tatiana's iconic speech at Raven
One thing to me that would instantly make the reunion more interesting is if they actually showcased the outfits more. Like queens should really be able to get full entrances, discuss their looks.

It's weird to see such a large segment of the franchise without formal reunions. I've been feeling back and forth on whether reunions should be after the crowning, but honestly, they've been successful before the finale anyway, so the format is fine. Wasn't there faux-reunions at Drag Con at some point? You should rate those! EDIT: We were really deprived of some drama by having the Season 13 reunion online. We'll always wonder how Kandy and Tamisha would have been in a room with just their cast members, drinking a little bit, no audience except the people behind the cameras.

No one really knows. They only moved to a “live” finale because of Raja’s win being leaked at the start of s3. I guess they were still trying to figure out the format for finales and needed to pad out the runtime with a “reunion”.
The first half of the whole show didn't have reunions per se, but they did have those recaps before the finale and the reunion part of it was the first parts of the finale.
Brooklyn next and Vanjie lived together after the show for almost a Year and Vanjie broke it off ,She said Cuz Brooklynne couldn't keep Her Dick in her pants around other boys. She said her list of people she fd behind Vanjies back was not a short one and thay Brooklyn never admitted to her She was addicted to sex.And Vanj didn't want thay kind of relationship. And thay Brooklyn never broke her heart.On WoW+on Vanjies reality show where She had to pick out of like 30 guys to date and meet his Mom and All,it was great!!!!It was like the guy bachelor!!!😂😂😂😂😂

I actually enjoy season 12's reunion, but that may be because I enjoy the cast so much. They were really done dirty between COVID, SP and their finale airing around the tragedy of George Floyd. The cast was so talented and deserve more.
I hate Season 11 and Season 10. 10 because the situation was so badly handled, 11 because it felt boring and forced.
My favourite is probably season 9.
Oh I also hate AS2's, they were awful to Phi Phi and it was undeserved
Kandy is so iconic and literally the only reason that season was palatable
