- The cold open from the long awaited final season to American comedy series Ted Lasso.
Taken From Season 3 Episode 1 of the Apple TV Original Series
Oof, right in the feels.
Ted Lasso is an American sports comedy-drama television series developed by Jason Sudeikis, Bill Lawrence, Brendan Hunt and Joe Kelly, based on a character Sudeikis first portrayed in a series of promos for NBC Sports' coverage of England's Premier League.
Synopsis: An American football coach is hired to manage a British soccer team; what he lacks in knowledge, he makes up for in optimism, determination and biscuits.

Remember how season 2 opened and closed on the subject of Nate and the change he went through (specifically with the shots of Nate's face up close)? I'm wondering if that might be the same case here. Just hopefully Ted's doing better on the other side, or at least has grown a lot
the first season opened and closed on shots of rebecca, so i'm thinking you're right
Good call. I’d bet you’re right
Both seasons opened and closed on the character with the biggest character growth, if this is indeed the final season who else could open and close than Ted?
@@rafterscott yeah I forgot about season 1 doing the same with Rebecca
@@rafterscott also I don't know if you noticed but at the end of episode 1 of s3, Lego Ted had gray hair
I actually liked the misdirection. Of course it doesn't make much sense that his mom is saved as "Michelle Lasso" in his contacts but I don't care. I don't want Ted to get back together with his ex wife. So this was a relief 😅
I think Henry doesn't have a phone so Michelle sent the message to Henry through Ted - Henry is the lockscreen photo and Ted is holding the phone when Henry walks away. He puts it back in his pocket at the end of the scene.
@@sharonfieldstone ah yes that makes much more sense!
@@sharonfieldstonethen Henry uses his mum's phone to message Ted later in the ep
@@sharonfieldstone I thought it was that Michelle sent that text *for* Ted, and he maybe felt some sort of pain so he deflected it saying it was for Henry
I don't have my parents saved as Mum or Dad
it could not possibly matter less, but i hope we all know that princess peach doesn't need to be unlocked in smash bros and that there are no levels in breath of the wild
In the new smash game, only the original eight characters are unlocked at the start of the game, so even though that comment bothered me initially, I realized they could technically be right
NOBODY CARES!
i think she might have meant the boss fight?? i hope so😦
@@marjjjeyy919 i think she meant hyrule castle lol, she’s probably not a zelda nerd and uses a casual term for any game
One of the great relations of kids and parents, kids use their parents so parents use their kids
Saying goodbye to your child like this is heart breaking. I live 2000km from my little girl and she's 24...yet she's 7. LOL.
Damn I thought he and his wife reconciled 😭
Lol why did you think that?
@@ethanharmer5151 Because he got that text that said "I love you," but it was really sent to his son, who probably doesn't have a phone.
I thought it was a flashback
This was a warning scene.
barbecue sauce
Is no one gonna say anything about the "last level of breath of the wild" comment?
It's a pretty valid way to describe the fight.
@@RAP-SKULLION was it really final level was a boring boss fight or with DLC a great bossfight no real level
A lot of non-gamers purchased the game in the pandemic so this scene is understandable
He has a British kid? Confused now…
That’s his kid from the US. What are you talking about.
@@botstavo7687 thought I detected a slight British accent, no?
@@alextaylor2551 perhaps certain inflections or maybe you heard a word wrong 🤷♀️

Political landscape joke seems quite forced and cringy. Also I would think that Ted Lasso of all people would keep away from the negativity and toxicity of CNN.
Well said.
What a Foxxy comment
Look at little snowflake jr. gonna cry?
Please, the whole US media landscape is rather toxic no matter if right or left wing.
@@Carcosahead The man is correct, besides, why would anyone want to watch a news network that blackmailed someone.
