- Audi R8 Spyder online races in HOT WHEELS UNLEASHED™ with the fully upgraded Legendary Audi R8 Spyder. The Audi R8 is overall decent but not many people use it simply because it is basically a weaker Jesko. Sadly there was a mini update that broke the livery for me, so had to revert to stock form for the 2nd race.
Not a huge fan of the handling. It seems to struggle to take sharp tunes but for most medium size turns it is fine. Overall it is pretty much a slightly weaker version of the Koenigsegg Jesko. If only it had 3 boost bars.

By this logic one could easily rag on how Hot Wheels Premium releases seem to be just spam of Fast and Furious movie cars- oh wait, collectors do exactly that.
Besides, it's easier than customizing a real Hot Wheels R8 into Darius' scheme, so I'm hardly going to knock this.
The multiplayer still needs a lot of work in my opinion. As expected, most people will just ram you off the track when being overtaken. The server constantly loses the connection, although I do not know if that is a fault from their side. And lastly, 90 percent of the entire lobby just stands there, afk and blocks you, like wtf?

@@rosalinamacarita01 I understand that the other NFS cars are as good as the M3, like what you mentioned Razor's Mustang, Eddie's R34, or Rachel's 350Z, but out of all of the cars in the entire NFS franchise for me, the M3 GTR has to be my favorite

Funny that years ago as a kid, i used to recreate the cutscenes from NFS Carbon with my Hot Wheels, some cars that i used were a BLUE Honda S2000 as the BMW M3 GTR, a Black Lotus Elise as Cross's Corvette, the Dodge Challenger for the Intro and Angie's Cara and a Team Hot Wheels car as Kenji's RX7, and i have been thinking on making this old Idea a reality and maybe one day post'it on CZcams

Can someone explain to me why half the lobby just goes afk every race?
Because the only way to earn the in-game currency is to play Multiplayer. So a lot just afk to grind money.
@@IsuckAtDriving it seems worse than actually racing imo cos they mostly get around 10 to 25 coins each race
@@f.o.8547 sadly the in game shop timer only counts down if you are actually in game. You cant close the game and come back on in 4 hours to get a new reset in the shop. So people afk in online lobbies to make money while also winding down the clock for their shop reset. They really need to change the shop reset timer to global time, an afk timer, and they need to make longer races give a larger reward for finishing the races
