    Fire Cider Ingredients-
    1 medium organic onion, chopped
10 cloves of organic garlic, crushed or chopped
    3 organic jalapeno peppers, chopped
Zest and juice from 1 organic lemon
1/2 cup fresh grated organic ginger root (or organic ginger root powder)
1/2 cup fresh grated organic horseradish root (or organic horseradish powder)
    1 Tbsp. organic turmeric powder
    1/4 tsp. organic cayenne powder
2 Tbsp. of dried rosemary leaves
    organic apple cider vinegar
1/4 cup of raw, local honey, or to taste
Add all ingredients (except the honey) to a quart sized mason jar. Cover top of jar with parchment paper before adding the metal lid and band or use a plastic reusable lid. Store in a cool dark place for 30 days. Shake jar daily. After 30 days strain through cheese cloth, making sure to squeeze out all you can from the pulp. Compost the pulp and then add the honey to the fire cider to taste. This does not need to be refrigerated but you will want to store it in a cool dark place and use within 6-8 months.
Here is how much we take:
1 Tablespoon per day to help boost immune system
3 Tablespoons per day if we feel a cold coming on
Can be taken by the spoonful or used in all sorts of recipes. Add to salad dressing, pour over veggies, use it in stir fry and so much more.
