Deus Ex Machina is a Latin phrase that means " a person or thing that appears or is introduced into a situation suddenly and unexpectedly and provides an artificial or contrived solution to an apparently insoluble difficulty." God from the machines. We try to solve problems made by man with the machines in our wars with, guns, tanks, missiles, and similarly in ourselves, through addictions, distractions, numbness, machines . We can miss the person and we see only the benefits. Or we see a threat, something to fight, without seeing the actual person. Phantoms fighting phantoms. We got to stop fighting each other. Religion without love is dead. Politics without freedom is tyranny. It's time to stop giving into despair and, start sharing the hope and love. That's what this song is about.
