Interesting little speech about entropy by Tez. He's right. What we perceive as "things changing over time" is actually the other way around, which is "time is moving along as things change". In its most empirical, scientific definition, time is "something that is measured by events that transpire". As a parallel, we say "a string is 10cm long because it is in such length", and not "a string is in such length because it is 10cm long." The unit of measure (meters for length and seconds for time) comes AFTER the observable reality. The passage of time does not enable things to change, but rather the changing of things allow time to be measured. As long as something, anything, happen, as long as a single atom still vibrates, a unit of time can be measured. But the moment absolutely everything in this universe cease moving, you can't measure time anymore. After all, what would differentiate a "now" and a "back then" when absolutely nothing is different? That is the definition of the Heat Death. A time where the universe has observed it's last unique permutation and can no longer change in any way. An actual, honest to god, End of Time.

@@HerMi.T thank you for the reply, it is indeed the 1st time i have known about this hypothesis and it's a very interesting read. I do have a question though, since it mentioned "everything in the universe" is this hypothesis under the assumption that the universe is a limited entity in a stationary state instead of a continuously expanding entity? My take on the topic is in a continuously expanding entity it is not possible to distribute heat equally because of something like this: let's just say the universe is getring real close to the equal distribution of heat, a new effect is born with a different temperature from the rest of the universe, the natural reaction is everything in the universe try to bring that to the new equilibrium (which changes because the new effect that was born has a different temperature). That process of bringing in the new equilibrium then become the cause to give birth to new effects with different temperature, which changes the equilibrium again, so on and so forth. Now let's say the universe is a limited and stationary entity, that would mean other similar limited entities exist. And the "death" of the universe will become the cause that give birth to a new effect on those entities, thus repeating the whole process again.
Not to discredit Tez beliefs or anything, but how does the "rebirth" fit in this particular situation? we does have our command spell back from camazotz. we just didn't have the "actual" right of master. in short, even if servant follow our rules, we are not their master actually. it is tezca who is the master.
Hilarious how Daybit tries to mess with Tez by trying to get Quetzalcoalt to beat his ass and then dissing him after losing Probably the best Master/Servant duo of the Crypters
Looking at this chapter, I can't help but laugh. Before, based on spoilers, I was sure that Daybit will come back in the future. But now, considering Tezcatlipoca's mythology, he could very well be taking about a long future, like reincarnation or something. Even in death, Daybit gives us a final mystery about him to solve. He's truly an enigma, even after the end.
He said he will come back after a rest, but this time on the good side. I can see where you are coming from, but they still have some cards to play with some of the mysteries this guy has.
Another person who reviewed the chapter explained it this way to me: Most of the Lostbelts felt like they were their fellow Crypters stories. For Daybit, it feels like his story is just getting started.
It was a good final battle to finish off the last Lostbelt, just a master battle for the sake of moving on, with a ballad playing in the background as if they were just telling a great story that already happened. I also love Daybit and Tezca dynamic, how Daybit make funny of him and they argue like true friends, i hope Daybit really comeback in the future, a good chance to see these two again😅
Nasu: if i don't write at least one background bromance before the finale i will wither and DIE. Seriously though, their relationship is so funny but there's a tinge of seriousness and caring, mostly from tezcatlipoca's side: He goes livid once he realized chaldea has been lying to u-olga in order to be friends with her. Of course there was never a right answer for that but lying to am amnesiac is always the worst solution, and considering his own master's condition, his rage was justified so much so he took off his jaguar warrior mask - the symbol of his pride as a god and authority that qualifies him as a Grand. His whole talk with Itzcalli about what is considered "alive" and what "phenomena". He uses ORT as an example but after he dies we are shown Daybit's backstory which implies that's the connection he was actually making. He was so eager to be summoned he didn't let the world make a body for him and the reason as to why was not only about his summoner's plans but also curiosity over his existence; was he inhuman like the man and the world claim him to be? or was he actually human all along? Blue treats him like a fool because they already know the answer but Black was willing to give the benefit of the doubt. The reason Daybit is in mictlanpa at all already says what the God's veredict was and he probably reached that conclusion the second he was summoned: Daybit is not only human but also one that befits the humanity he cherishes as a god, the warrior kind. He loves humans as much as Quetz does but his beloved humans are warriors, those who fight tooth and nail for survival and change even if it kills them; Quetzalcoatl loves humans who struggle and fight for their future happiness (guda). However Tezca isn't allowed to "love" so openly like her because he's cursed to bring more calamity the more affection he pours and we can see that when the closer he got to fullfil Daybit's plans the more everything started crumbling down to the point itzcalli doubted himself at the last minute ruining everything. As for the master himself, he's the more emotionally constipated kind for good reason, but he actually bothered learning 5 minutes of trivia about his servant in the whole year they were together. Also he must've learned a lot about him back in clock tower to guess the god would be on the same wavelenght as him and doesn't mind the misfotune he brings with his pressence because he can overcome them; and he still gets shocked over seeing him die even if it was a predicted outcome. There is more to this i'm sure and i could make a dissertation over what makes Tezca and Quetz hate eachother the way they do other than human sacrifice but i end the wall of text here :P
Quetzalcoatl and Tezcatlipoca mostly hate eachother because of the mutual beef they have accumulated over their shared history. Tezcatlipoca do be doing a little trolling.
@@thatonenicehusky It was also a massive teaser as to who the next Grand Assassin would be, because Gramps basically forced that role on Tezca after he gave up his authority.
Farewell to crypters. I am going to miss these guys. We still have Kadoc, but with the amount of death flags he has collected, I am not betting on him living a long and healthy life.

The Daybit comment about Marisbury finally revealed what transpired in that room confrontation. Glad that they did that reveal. It does make one curious as to what exactly Daybit meant about Marisbury being the enemy of the universe though.
Basicaly Aoko accelerating the heat death of the universe to revive a person the most convoluted way possible. Seriously, no wonder magic end with the gods, humans like these are the reason we can'thave nice things.
Marisbury is planning to use the Cosmic Trees to spread humanity on other planets, in other words, make humans as invaders to all over the space. At the same time, Marisbury will use that same Cosmic Trees to erase all the lifeforms that existed on the planets, then humanity can live on those said planets. That's what Daybit meant by "Saving the Universe", he wants to protect the other lifeforms and not just humans. There's no right or wrong here, that's what makes it tragic.
For your information, we able to defeat ORT for many reasons but also because of Tezcatlipoca as well. he took away the right of the master from us for himself and actually give the servants we summoned a place (i.e underworld) to increase their strength for inevitable battle. He transforms underworld into what we see it is. So that, everyone has equial opportunities to fight their battle and win or lose. It gave both of them trials and see who lose or win and reward from both of their effort. Still ORT turn out to be near impossible to defeat by ourselves, that's why we need many helps from other powerful beings (including ORT itself) as well as "coincidences" to help us defeat it. Even with equal trials, We have to struggle a lot to barely win.
This was the perfect ending. We're back in the heart of the world, where we were met by this mysterious person in a suited attire. We don't know if he was enemy or ally. After the seals were taken away, it became clear to the master of chaldea that he was suspected to be the villain to pursue. And so they fought. Only to be met in the same place they've met. With several challenges having been faced, the master of chaldea has overcome them with the highest threats towering over them. They doubted their friends. They doubted themselves. They doubted their time. And the only thing that kept the master fighting was the lift of encouragement from their historical figures. Just makes you think; imagine fighting in a world void of all known recorded human life? Such a world would be heartbreaking and cruel to walk on.
So thats why if you lose the fight the game gives you the "try again, save the earth" Whoever wins comes back to life and im not sure if we let Daybit comeback
The kicker is that Tez side afterlife here isn’t forever and that he needs rest before he comes back on the good side. It leaves an open ending on Daybit’s part because the MC wants to learn more. My opinion is that Daybit will show up against Marisbury.
@@The_Laughing_Magician daybit will deffinetly show up otherwise marysbury will have to monologue the shit out of his plan instead of something more organic like daybit telling us
I still think I did good on trust Daybit all along. There must be some damn really evil thing going on with Marusbury plan to say Human Order CHALDEAS would be the enemy of the Universe. And taking plot from Notes and other lore parts like Velber, that must really be something
I know it's a really slim chance or a false hope but "if the deinos come over to my paradise--" maybe we have a chance of seeing them again in the future? Probably in the setting of an event which we travel on tez's paradise, as them actually becoming part of PHH seems impossible.
So I have a question for anyone here that summoned him. Does Tezcatlipoca have a "My Room" voice line for Gilgamesh? Or for Artoria? Or for literally any Servant that is/was a king/queen/emperor/pharaoh/person in a position of rulership? Because if he doesn't then that's a *HUGE* missed opportunity.
Wait, if there are different kinds of heavens and hells in Aztec mythology where dead are allocated based on death they died and life they lived, and Taiga/Jaguar Man is an Aztec God, then what kind of dead go to the Tiger Dojo?
I wonder what would happen if quetzalcoalt was here, her description of tezcatlipoca was always of vulgar a evil god. Who knows they might have made peace with themselves here.
@@bingchilling994 daybit tired to get Marisbury to turn CHALDEAS off because he’s the only one who knows how. But Marisbury shot himself to make that impossible.
So, we had been nerfed this entire lostbelt? I wonder what would have changed if we had been at full strength? Maybe we could have been awesome enough that Olga didn't need to die.
So Tezcatlipoca can legit time travel? Like deadass permanent time travel and not temporary like his time swapping Noble Phantasm? Or is it the memory travel like PPH Morgan did in Lostbelt 6?
Tezcatlipoca, a great character and an amazing Servant, with the only thing holding him back being an inexcusably bad art style. God I hope he and Daybit come back in The Grand finale of Cosmos in The Lostbelt! It would be so cool to see them make a dramatic entrance to help Chaldea fight whatever final boss Marisbury coocked up for them!
Yeah, he says that Ruler is one of the classes he’s “supposed” to be, but he’s an Assassin because he’s paying off a debt to Gramps, so he has to do his Grand Job
Ruler class is defined as the arbitrators of Heroic Spirits, especially in a Holy Grail War. They also don't have a wish for the Grail. Tezcatlipoca definitely fits with this class. I mean, just look at him. My man just wants to see some great battles. He doesn't have any great desire at all. Tezcatlipoca is the kind of person where, if he wants something, he accomplishes it on his own ways.
@@demigodz6944 He is also impartial. He plays both sides, give his aid to both sides, gives everyone equals opportunities and gives everyone trials. And of course, he judges people.
Daybits face at the crushing realization that fujimaru surpassed him in every way without even being a master in the lostbelt is priceless. Also whoever made that meme about daybit living like Kadoc... that aged poorly. Tez is easily the best character across all the lostbelts maybe that's why they shit the bed with his art, gotta balance things out, he's definitely one of if not the most complex Character nasu has ever written, I really hope nasu keeps writing at least til the end of CHALDEAS cuz I feel he's really grown as a writer over these lostbelts, and I know alot of people hate this lostbelt just cuz of the delays but it's definitely the best one it truly did something different and honestly opening up with fujimaru dying Olga losing her memories and rekindling our old bond with her was the best way to subvert expectations. I really hope we can get her back using the count. I hope she becomes summonable. I still think Marisbury being the true baddie all along is an asspull just to appease the memes it feels ridiculously forced. I absolutely loved kukulkan but I definitely think at the end there she really fell from grace but at least they sorta redeemed her. I am still blown away that waifu ort is actually a thing, if any meme became true that's the funniest one Nasu ever made canon. I think they handled Ort perfectly. This lostbelt truly felt like genuine consequences, Losing to Ort and everyone becoming Data lost with having to do the first truly video gamey reset we've had felt like some real weight if this wasn't a Gacha and an actual single player game on a computer or console this wouldve been the genuine you either win or your save file gets deleted kinda hard-core moment. I'm a bit disappointed Tepeu and Archetype Earth Dino version where here instead of actually having Arcuied and shiki show up, or just Arc but at least it makes sense... sorta it's still a but of a reach considering it's a soft recon of Types as a whole considering there's only supposed to be 1 across all timelines but whatever it's a small gripe. Camazotz I respect but he got what he deserved I think people are way too soft on him cuz he's a sad boi and completely ignore that he killed his whole species just to kill the thing killing them, the definitely of counter productive. I really liked the new lore to alters, giving us a way to have them without mama tiamats bath water. Tenochtitlan having a redemption arc was awesome and while I hated her at the start she really grew on me and I was rooting for her at the end there. Dinosaurs with guns is both hilarious and amazing. Whoo I really poured my thoughts out on this lostbelt, thank you whoever reads this novel of my thoughts and I hope you all have a great day.
Ugh? Marisbury's thing wasn't forced. If anything, it was predictable. Literally everyone knew he was likely the real mastermind. Marisbury being sus has been a thing repeated not only through the entire Cosmos in the Lostbelt since its beginning, but also said/hinted during both Part 1 and Epic of Remnant, and even in other universes like Case Files. Like, there's not a doubt for me that Nasu had that planned since the very beginning. If anything it's surprising that it wasn't just another red herring like those he loves lately. Also, Camazotz didn't kill them... they literally sacrificed themselves for him, out of their own will, and even Camazotz questions whether he was worthy or not of that sacrifice.
@@jesusluquetorres7448 Forced? Marisbury has planted his scheme at the beginning. He wants Chaldea, his ambition to be realized. Securing the Human Order But making an enemy to the Universe is not something Daybit would want.
Marisbury was obviously the main villain back at the start of the Lostbelt arc the moment they started giving us a lot of details about the mentality and plans of a dead man, even more so with the reveal that he was the one who cared Sirius Light into the Crypters.

What were those moments Quetz had again? I don't remember.
Pretty sure Daybit was impressed that we fought ORT without using the Command Seals.
Gotta say that Tezca and Daybit do make quite a pair.
we does have our command spell back from camazotz. we just didn't have the "actual" right of master. in short, even if servant follow our rules, we are not their master actually. it is tezca who is the master.
@@HerMi.T They really couldn’t use the Command Spell during Mictlan journey. No NP/HP 100% charge.
God, Daybit just fuckign roasting Tezcatlipoca is the best thing
Hilarious how Daybit tries to mess with Tez by trying to get Quetzalcoalt to beat his ass and then dissing him after losing
Probably the best Master/Servant duo of the Crypters
My favorite part was when tez said WOOOOOOO before he dissapears
I hope it is a future event like Area 51 and than after that they add Daybit to the crew. 🤩
No worries, Best girl Daybit will come back to life, probably in the next arc
Nasu: if i don't write at least one background bromance before the finale i will wither and DIE.
Seriously though, their relationship is so funny but there's a tinge of seriousness and caring, mostly from tezcatlipoca's side:
He goes livid once he realized chaldea has been lying to u-olga in order to be friends with her.
Tezcatlipoca really beyond good and evil, he has the same vibe with king hassan in that point.
That's why King Hassan said he respect Tez's belief.

@@BrunofanofK ..That doesn't answer anything.🤔
Marisbury is planning to use the Cosmic Trees to spread humanity on other planets, in other words, make humans as invaders to all over the space.
At the same time, Marisbury will use that same Cosmic Trees to erase all the lifeforms that existed on the planets, then humanity can live on those said planets.
That's what Daybit meant by "Saving the Universe", he wants to protect the other lifeforms and not just humans.
There's no right or wrong here, that's what makes it tragic.

Tez's monologue on time was very cool
Yeah, Daybit and Tezca definitely will come back and aid us in the battle against CHALDEAS and Marisbury.

I would’ve enjoyed to have seen Jaguarman and Daybit together. That would be S Grade tier comedy.

The kicker is that Tez side afterlife here isn’t forever and that he needs rest before he comes back on the good side. It leaves an open ending on Daybit’s part because the MC wants to learn more. My opinion is that Daybit will show up against Marisbury.

That "final boss" better be the real Beast VII...
Alright, much as I hate the art style of Tez, that animation of him transforming back is pretty sick.
So Tez is a Ruler since he is the Ruler of Mictlampa?
Yeah, he says that Ruler is one of the classes he’s “supposed” to be, but he’s an Assassin because he’s paying off a debt to Gramps, so he has to do his Grand Job
Tezcatlipoca is a Ruler because he's the god of justice in mythology, the man *IS* the law.
@@demigodz6944
He is also impartial.
He plays both sides, give his aid to both sides, gives everyone equals opportunities and gives everyone trials.
And of course, he judges people.
The name Ruler comes from the fact that they uphold the rules of the holy grail war. It has nothing to do with actually ruling over anything.
Why daybit looks like drawn by boruto's artist?
Securing the Human Order
But making an enemy to the Universe is not something Daybit would want.
Marisbury was obviously the main villain back at the start of the Lostbelt arc the moment they started giving us a lot of details about the mentality and plans of a dead man, even more so with the reveal that he was the one who cared Sirius Light into the Crypters.
