"Wow lau lau" from this Honolulu-Kanaka in Seattle! THAT is how I grew up in the islands. Super big mahalos for making genuine, good-hearted, adventure content that I will show my mainland-born Keiki, especially my son Andrew Kai. I want him to know that you guys are carrying the torch for the way I was raised and lived growing up hunting/fishing/diving/surfing our magical 'Aina. Mahalo you guys for not being commercial and not being so ego. You guyz are PRIME! Malama pono and e Aloha no from the PacNW! Holler if you guys ever come up here to and I'll show you how I adapted that ethos here.
Thank you for the support, that means a lot braddah🤙🏽

Wow, what an incredible adventure! Watching your camping trip in Waimanu Valley was like stepping into a paradise of natural beauty and excitement. From spearfishing in the crystal-clear waters to cooking up your catch over an open fire, every moment seemed like a dream come true. And the scenery? Absolutely breathtaking! The lush green valleys, cascading waterfalls, and pristine coastline provided the perfect backdrop for your outdoor escapades. Thanks for sharing your journey with us - it's definitely inspired me to plan my own camping adventure in Waimanu Valley someday! 🏕🌊🐟
Thank you! Glad you enjoyed it. I wouldn’t call the waters crystal clear haha we went right after heavy rains so the water was pretty murky but besides that we were blessed with great weather and an amazing time. You should definitely try to make it out there sometime
Good video. I would have loved to hear just the natural sounds of you guys grooving, the wind blowing, the water rushing and flowing, the animals, and whatever else you guys encountered.
Waimanu is stunning. One of the best camping trips of my life but the hike in and out is brutalllll. To think you guys only went for 3 days is crazy lol

Mahalo for watching. Waimanu valley was stunning. We were blessed with great weather which is not a common occurrence. You should make the trek out there if you ever get the chance. Definitely worth the long hike. I want to get back there again ASAP!
If you are not a local there there, you can’t even drive down to Waipio valley.

Prawns never stood a chance
I think you meant murky, instead of mercury.
The name of that waterfall is Waiʻilikahi Falls.
Awesome footage. 🤙🏾
I was referring to an old video that my family jokes about. There was an interview a while back of a surfer on Kaua’i and he was describing the conditions and he says that the water was so mercury that he couldn’t see anything hahaha. My family always says that now instead of murky
Beautiful place. Great adventure video. Thanks for sharing. sub & 👍33

Good one. Looks like you had the whole valley to yourselves. How was that pig taro? You can discern edible taro from other ape by seeing if the stem comes into the center of the leaf (edible) or into the v shape of the heart (pig taro). Chee huu
Mean! Mahalo for the info
Leo tries fruit and likes it??

Is this big island?
Yeah
Can hawaii residents access the hike without a 4WD but only entering the site on foot
Negative, you gotta park down there or get dropped at the bottom
