This is Seattle Washington. I worked in this city 17 years ago, never saw prostitution like this during the day. I moved my family to Iowa to get away from the mind virus of progressivism, best thing I ever did. The whole state is a leftist sink hole.
They are there because they are lazy and don't want to work. They want free money without effort. Truth is if you offered them a full time job at Starbucks or Burger King they would decline the offer.
It is just one of the many terrible results stemming from the unstoppable tidal wave of socialism. The disgust/despair of the drug tracts throughout Seattle is even more of an affront to decency.
Yeah, me too, we had Harry Hines Blvd. here in Dallas like this for many years but they ran them off and I'm not sure where they are now. They were pulling us over if you made more than one trip down the road and threating to arrest us for looking at them back then in the 80's.. LOL

The biggest shock for me is how blatant it is. Aurora has always had a prostitution problem, but most of the women 20+ years ago you would never guess were prostitutes. They certainly weren’t walking down Aurora in thigh boots with their asses hanging out of minidresses. I remember going to traffic court in 1994. The court room was packed with a lot of rather unkempt looking women, but you would never guess in a million years they were prostitutes. It turns out I was the one of the only 2-3 people in the room who were there for an actual moving violation. All of the women were there for “S.O.A.P.” Violations. I asked an attorney sitting next to me, “what is a soap violation?”. He said “Stay Out of Area of Prostitution”
Same thing here. I’m from Nashville, and as a native, I can spot a local prostitute a couple of blocks away. But they are by no means as blatant and dressed up as in these videos. Prancing around like this would get you arrested quickly, I would normally think.

We've had prostitution forever in my metro area of 400,000 people, it's just always been through newspaper ads for dancers/entertainers, then Craigslist back page, and now Craigslist missed connections or other online sites and the cities ignored it beyond an occasional PR enforcement dog and pony show for the media so the naive citizens think the politicians are on it. So weird that wherever they legalize and regulate it in the world STDs go down, crimes against the workers goes down, and the women have access to social assistance programs and medical care.

It’s a hard life for working girls, many who have no family , no supports. I think anyone who cannot see the humanity in each of the women is lacking something integral to being human. If we heard their stories there might be a shred of compassion.

I recently visited N.Seattle for a whole month recently. I would frequently go that Burger Master and Planet fitness off of Aurora. It shocks me that the police allow this to occur, because it is a suburban family based area?

The biggest shock for me is how blatant it is. Aurora has always had a prostitution problem, but most of the women 20+ years ago you would never guess were prostitutes. Yeah, the Democrats financially ruin cities and decriminalize(no bail, $50 tickets) low-level crime. Obversely, Republicans run a tightfisted fiscal policy, and aggressive law enforcement. But there's always going to be prostitution, it's just that the Democrats pull the police away from enforcement at the street level, and the Republicans let the girls know that as long as you're not visible on the streets you can low key advertise and have them pick you up wherever. Seattle just needs to have a side street behind a industrial park where girls can work in a brothel or get picked up. Just get licensed with the city, a free STD lab there, and no more streetwalkers and murdered hookers. We've had prostitution forever in my metro area of 400,000 people, it's just always been through newspaper ads for dancers/entertainers, then Craigslist back page, and now Craigslist missed connections or other online sites and the cities ignored it beyond an occasional PR enforcement dog and pony show for the media so the naive citizens think the politicians are on it. So weird that wherever they legalize and regulate it in the world STDs go down, crimes against the workers goes down, and the women have access to social assistance programs and medical care.
My memories of Seattle go back to World Fair when the space needle opened. I was around 6. Times have changed a lot since then.

It most often starts off as a means to change the way they feel hoping for something better. They like the break from their reality at first and then the new reality grabs them and takes over every moment and thought they may have left. The ladies work the streets to survive and they become trapped in the cycle as each passing day their options become less and less until there are none left. Do the patrons take advantage of them? Oh yeah, they sure do.
