Yesterday, I went to the local subway about an 8 hour drive away, and when I reached that place, I was seriously happy about getting my food. And now, I honestly don't know if the person was zoned out or something, but for some reason, that guy just went up, grabbed a bread, started putting everything there, and in the end, put Ketchup on it. Believe me, that was a spoiled day.

People who stupidly say WAY too much information at first tend to think the other person is "dumb" for not remembering it, but they are actually the one who is a complete moron for not understanding a very basic social interaction. I know you can't "talk back" to a customer while you're working, that's why sometimes when I'm in line behind people who mistreat cashiers etc with stupid stuff like this sometimes I'll confront the other customer so that they hear what they need to hear but no one can blame the employee.
Right, fellow subway goers here's how you say your order so that the staff don't have to ask you five times: Size Type of Meat/Filling Type of Bread - Wait until staff has finished and asks if its cheese and toasted. Type of Cheese and If toasted or not. Then any sides if required WAIT UNTIL EACH VEGGIE IS APPLIED BEFORE SAYING THE NEXT ONE
Ranch instead of mayonnaise on a sandwich is a mistake, but not so bad. I once had a Subway worker make my salad with mayo instead of ranch dressing. That was inedible

I work at Jersey Mikes and I constantly repeat customers orders to make sure I get it right because I constantly forget what they just told me 10 seconds before. It gets even worse when the store is busy
