Day in the life- Bar Refurbishment Update, Los Cristianos Indian Restaurant & South Airport! ☀️

- Join us for a day in the life vlog as we take you along with us for our busy day in South Tenerife. We start with a new car being delivered to Sanasty Car Hire for the fleet before joining Laura at the Bar to show you a full construction/refurb update on the progress of Buddies Bar Los Cristianos. We then head to Tandoori Hut Indian restaurant in Los Cristianos for a nice 3 course Indian meal! After filling up on some delicious food, I head to Tenerife South Airport to drop off and pick up a rental car before we round off the vlog walking the dog!

Rather than plant pots, might be an idea to have wall mounted plants thus maintaining as much floor space as possible. Looking forward to visiting the bar in November. 👍

Another great update from you guys. I’m on catch up again, sorry!! Lovely to see everything progress so quickly, tiles look fab, plastic plants less maintenance.
Loving watching how the renovations are progressing. Good quality fake plants are the way to go, real ones take constant care and you’ll have enough on your hands running the bar. Plus people do tend to pour stuff in to the pots, I know this from experience, and it eventually kills them.

Bar's coming along really well plants and foliage on the rooftop would be lovely, make it very tropical , love the newcar too, very smart, not been to Tandouri hut yet, must get around to it, love chicken dishes with mushrooms and onions, not too spicy just tasty. Nice to see Rio, he's beautiful, we have a cat that is very unsociable, especially with other cats, she screams at them😂 scared of her own shadow too, won't let anyone she dosn't know go anywhere near her. Wouldn't be without her though. Thankyou for these updates, love to see how it's all going, xxstride on ❤

the bar is coming on great. I don't usually like fake plants but their are some great real looking ones you can get.. I think in the heat of Tenerife you would need to keep on top of caring for real ones. You both have such a lot to do anyway every day.. Keep the updates coming.

Hey both I was fed up of going away (we go regularly ) and plants were dying so we decided to install a Fake wall with plants and fountain , they weren’t cheap because they are quality UV protected etc
I still have trees and real plants in the ground but the potted plants weren’t getting the attention they needed .
So for ease and a really nice affect get faux plants , you’ll be busy enough!
possibly add solar lighting (making most all that sun ) really makes a nice feature..
and I prefer eat early 🙌🏼🤣
As a Brummie, we've got curry's on our doorstep,but the older i get can't eat late nowadays,starters love a nargis kebab,followed my Jalfrezi & garlic naan,heaven.

Loved the vlog guys. Really enjoying the updates on the reno of the bar. It's going to be awesome and would love to pay you a visit next time we are in Tenerife. So, Porsche or BMW. Out of those two, defo go for the BMW. If I was hiring a car from you - never ever take an Everton Blue car. Would have to be Mighty White- sorry lol. Finally, a tech question. Have you upgraded the resolution on your vlogs? Don't know if it's that or the fact I have a new pc/monitor, but I could see Laura's individual lashes lol. Never noticed that before. Keep up the great work, and all the best for the new bar.
Went to tandoori hut the other week and Harry’s son was there and I loved the whole vibe of the restaurant and food
Loving the bar updates, and I agree with another poster about false plants. I think the heat would make real ones hard to keep and there are lovely quality realistic faux ones avaliable now. Also how about a rooftop live camera? I love those for watching the world go by

Can always buy a shower brush also incase the water goes inside and you can just push it towards the drain if it comes to that, wouldn’t be a problem anyway as like you said it doesn’t really rain much in Tenerife 😁 can’t wait to visit, coming to Tenerife for 10days tomorrow, but will defo be coming back to see the bar 🫶🏻x

Love seeing your foodie vlogs, tandoori hut looks lush. If you're gonna go for real plants - go for low maintenance ones like suculents or some of the native small spanish palms, thwy dont require alot of watering in the right gravel. Cant wait to see the bar progress. Congratulations.

About the plants - maybe try growing herbs that you can use in cocktails?
Mint grows really easily, you’d easily grow enough for your Mojitos and you’d always have fresh plants.
Really like the day in the life Vlogs, real plants always look nicer but the artificial one looked good and I’m an early eater hubbys a late eater so we meet halfway.

Hi came home. From tenerife last week staying g at paloma beach apartments for the 2nd year we love it there .I've been to lot of curry house in tenerife but before we came home we tried mi t the Indian restaurant wow the best curry we've had absolutely stunning food

Great to hear it’s going to be non smoking. It will be lovely to enjoy both levels and not have to sit inside.
Although real plants are much nicer , I do think artificial ones would be far more practical with the heat and upkeep of them, I love watching the Reno updates on the bar, and loving seeing Rio running on the beach, I much prefer to eat early, and if I’m having a India meal my go to meal is always butter chicken with pilau rice and chips,

Chicken tikka Pathia! You’d both love it. Mild version for the misses and hot for you. It’s a sweet n sour taste with black pepper and garlic. Banging mate! Been to the Love India lately? That’s near you in Los Cris….Their chicken tikka cheese starter is amazing 😃🤙🏻
Curious what day this was filmed. If Saturday we were in the PDLA Tandoori Hut around the same time as you were in the Los Cris one. I went for the chicken saag with pilau rice and garlic naan. We had 4 poppadums and the exact same pickle tray, though we never touched that red one! Two Cobras and garlic chicken for my partner, total bill 51.15. We passed Buddies though on Sunday morning (3 guys busy working) and it seemed there is more floor down in the video than when we saw it.

I eat early normally by 6 then walk my dog,bit of tv (CZcams etc) before bed as I get up at 5.30 for work 😊

I am pretty sure the brand that is Knightstrider is more well known than Sanasty. Have you considered rebranding everything to Knightstrider? Or have sub-brands, Carstrider for the rentals and Drinkstrider for the pub. 😁

We prefer to eat before 7pm. I love the butter chicken in tandoori hut. It's the best butter chicken I've had any where. It's got to be garlic naan for me.
