Presented with Kai Jensen (GMT Games) at the SDHistcon Second Front Online event on June 8th, 2024. Kai and I review the Ten Axioms for Combat Commander that were developed by players on The Combat Commander Ladder over the years. We discuss tactical advice for implementing each of these Axioms.
Consider this an open invitation for you to come join our Combat Commander Ladder Tournament! Players are paired up monthly and attempt to ascend to the top rung of the ladder. You are assigned one of the one-hundred-plus Combat Commander scenarios to complete against their opponent within the month. You will not find a friendlier group of players of all skill levels, eager to make your acquaintance and to challenge your skills.

Excellent video. I must brush up on my CC rules, remember what modules/BPs I have (I know I don’t have many BPs) and then consider joining the ladder.
Great Video Patrick and Kai. I am below the 5000 mark on the ladder and I will work on keeping in mind the 10 Axioms that you highlighted (By doing so I hope to climb up above the 5000 mark one of these days). The more I play the more I like the game and the people on the ladder. Great place to meet good folks that share my interest in board gaming. Also, a friend of mine in Taiwan and I have just finished playing each of the Europe basic scenario's, switching sides on each game, and we have just this week started the Pacific scenario's. Having lots of fun. And once again thanks for doing the hard work in keeping the ladder up and running and all the videos that you have posted (helping me learn how to play by watching others play the game step by step).
