Hi, wonder if you could help. I'm noob to this but trying to use disposable e sig lithium batteries to make a motorbike battery but im getting too high voltage bc they are 3.7v cells.
Toto zařízení není vhodné do nabíjecích systémů vozidel. Po odepnutí bms akumulátoru nebude schopna nabíjecí soustava udržet palubní napětí na daném napětí.

4s 100A bms po yung gamit nyo lodi..careful lng po sa charging current nya it can only support 10Amps max. Pa update po kami if cells are still balance after several test run..another nice build lodi👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Hello my friend, the bms says 100A. To start a motorcycle, needs about 250-350cca! How is that possible?
You're revving the engine and only getting 13.5V DC
This means there is either something wrong with the stator or the regulator/rectifier on the bike, which is probably why your battery is dead. Most electrical systems on bikes and cars in the last 40 to 50 years charge at 14.4V DC
this is a hoax. You cant start a car with 100Amps. Engine wont even turn. And you are right
Charging Li-ion batteries do not behave like lead acid.
If you raise the voltage above the voltage of the battery you'll get an almost short-circuit charge current.
I'm not sure if alternators can current-limit even to save themselves... if this is the case I'm sure that alternator doesn't like this short circuit- I mean battery one bit.

The batteries you listed at AliExpress cost $30US for a pack of 4. With 3 rows of 4 batteries, your pack will cost just shy of $100 in batteries alone not to mention all the other related items you will need. This is already about twice the price of a commercial motorcycle battery. Now maybe it's twice as good as a commercial battery but I have my doubts. Am I missing something here?
they are lighter and smaller and should last at least 4x longer than the lead acid chemistry, but it isn't all that simple, because LIFEPO4 batteries have such a low internal resistance you cant connect it directly to a alternator or you might fry it

Yea just did this but i went with 3S (4.2V *3) and did 3-parallel-string so 9batt total (26650).. Ideal for upto 450ccm (mine is 350ccm) edit: yours, even mine is NOT able to start a car.. that would need many more strings in parallel since a car, even a 1.4l pulls around 400A at crank.. and since one 3-batt-string can pull about 5A max (26650, 18650 about 3A).. well, do your maths.. This apply for cheaper batteries though.. I saw 18650 able to pull 10A sustainable for around a minute or 2 but theyre waaaaay too expensive, even for laptops
your battery pack is lithium ion, my batteries is liFepo4, they are different.

From what I've read, you'll need more than just this to start an actual car.
You need about 14 volts and 100 amps to reliably start a car.
Almost everything I've read points to using supercapcitors, as well.

boss, nagtry ako nito 4 pcs series na may bms, bakit kaya ayaw magstart sa push start o kahit sa kick starter ng motor ko, ano kaya possible cause kung bakit ayaw? 13.2 volts ang reading naman nya, tapos may naririnig lang ako na tunog sa cdi na parang buzz. please help po

13.34v ÷ 4 = 3.335V

@@albertnario4877 uhm nominal voltage for li-ion cells is 3.7v.They hold very litle charge under 3.5v. Also battery protection circuit balance the voltage of a battery at 4.2v max. Wtf haha you have some weird alien tech
