Give the Oberwerk SE series a shot. 8x32, 10x42, 12x50. All three are amazing for both terrestrial ans astronomical use.

    Bogden,
Try out the Svbony SV202s. Dielectric coatings, Bak-4 glass prisms and ED elements for much the same cost as these. Way better product and even esteemed astronomers like Neil English are touting their capabilities.
    Cheers,
    Simon

My 8x42rp are only 6.5 degrees.just after getting 7x35 celestron porro prism of Amazon for a steal at £23 with a birdspotter book.amazing considering the cost.just keep them in the car glove box.

    As always, great video 👍
I am also currently looking for a good binocular for visual astronomy.
But I am tending to one of the low mag widefield binoculars with about 2 - 2.5x magnification.
I had the chance to test one of these last year at the telescope meeting. It is really impressive how much more stars you can see with one of these.
Anyhow, thanks for the video 👍

@stefanfeichtenbock6949 Hi Stefan! Glad you enjoyed the video. It's not quite 2.5x, but the 6.5x32 D II XD from Kowa is a great pair of binoculars with excellent optics. I have never tested binoculars with a lower magnification than that. But your idea sound very intriguing. Clear skies!

Nice review. Would really be interested in how image stabilized or shake free binoculars would perform for star gazing. In the store they work great, but you can’t take them out to test them.

Bogdan thank you for your unbiased review. What about vendor bias? Having dealt with Chinese manufacturers before, i found the product they send you for free are usually optimized and tuned more than the commercial counterparts, they go over superior quality assurance which may be absent when building commercially . They need the positive reciews for business and can sometime skew objective reviews. It would be good to purchase a similar product in the future and comparing consistency.. love your videos, thank you. Could you review linear bino viewers v other bino viewers. Thank you

@AsKyOdA Thank you! That is a very good question. One that I have been asking myself while preparing for these reviews. I'll try to purchase these products later on and compare them to the ones sent in by the vendor.
