size of int = 4 bytes in new architecture and 2 bytes in old architecture uis a very vague/ambigous answer.. what is old? what is new? even today, in 2024, we have developed and launched embedded products running latest MCUs into the market where we have int taking up 2 bytes. so better way to answer is int would be 16 or 32 bit depending on the MCU and compiler being used..
