- I'm excited about the world opening back up. I'm vaccinated, I'm buying tickets to events and I can't wait to travel and see the friends I've missed these past 15 months. However, I'm also a little worried, that with things going back to "normal" we might lose sight of some of the things we've learned this past year.
I made this video to confess that to you and let you know it's okay to not be okay right now.

Thank you for sharing. 💛 mental health facilities are overrun right now, it’s tragic, and though everyone’s story is different this last year has effected lots of people. Made me realize I was very stuck and depressed and though I’m excited to try new things the anxiety/ depression/ panic attack levels are off the charts. I don’t know what the answer is but I do agree the isolation and forced change of the pandemic does have some silver linings, some things I hope both I and our hyper work obsessed consumer culture can learn from.
Thanks for sharing your story and how you're feeling too. We are in a really peculiar in-between space right now and it's going to be that way for sometime. Like you, I really hope the culture changes and that together years from now we can all look back on 2020 and say "that's the year that showed us we needed to change, so we did."

I am so grateful that you were able to find such love and beauty during this difficult time. It hasn't been so good for me, everything has fallen apart and continues to do so, each problem compounding on the ones before.
That's certainly the case for lots of people. I'm sorry you're not in a good place and I hope you have the ability to find your way out to a better world.
