Both are excellent devices but I prefer the Realme slightly more, because of the leather back, the insane zoom sensor, and wireless charging which is a great feature to have. Hopefully they can add widevine L1 in the future as that's the only big con that it has. Awesome comparison!

You are right, for hardcore gaming and media binge watching K20 pro is a great phone with a overall good main camera and if anyone wants good quality triple camera setup then go for GT 5 pro.

Me, too. I like the redmi better. In terms of photos its not much of a gap, and the battery life with an additional 500mah is not worth it if it only adds 20+mins compared to gt5. Gt5 gets the speaker test win, k70 pro gets the win with L1. Soooo... I was supposed to get the vanilla k70 but after watching this i might get the k70 pro as my secondary.
Hi Han!😊 great comparison video. They both r matched equally in specs and eveyehting but i saw a huge differnce in camera quality the redmi had some yellowing to all the pics taken. The pretty girl human subject her skin was always yellowish orangish and it was wierd. I still say iqoo 12 is the value for money in the budget class. Wish i had the money to buy one.i can retire my samsung note 5 which i bought used in 2018. 😅...

BBK had to cut corners in order to show bigger brother, one plus 12better and pricier. Although Real me may be a little ahead with Camera, but it has been xiaomi’s revival with hyper OS.

Both are great phones for their price point. Really good display panels, good speakers, descent camera performance and goos battery also. If you are on a budget and your main focus is not camera usage, then no need to spend more money on flagships. I have used realme 7 5g for 4 years and never had an issue at all. They have good phones in my opinion. It's either some small differences to go with realme or xiaomi, such as UI for example. But unfortunately these pgones would cost the same as a Pixel 8 here in EU, which is considered as a "Flagship" device. Thank you brother Han for this honest review. Love your work ❤

I completely understand your sentiment about the Redmi K70 Pro lacking dual speaker grills. It's definitely a feature that many phone users, myself included, have come to appreciate for richer and more immersive audio experiences.
I completely agree with Han's opinion, as I use to play games a lot and by far the most often on my smartphone.
That's frankly one of the primary benefits of the smartphone with Android for me, which is simply a Linux powered PC with many other valuable functions, like camera and of course, modem for making phone calls. 😅
In fact, playing a full-fat PC games offline on my mobile phone wherever I want was a big gaming dream of mine for quite a long time now.
I especially looked forward to play some slightly older legacy titles, which currently encompasses even 2010ish and later, but mostly the ones from mid to late 2000s, except with maxed out details, graphic mods and crisp resolution of modern top notch mobile display panels 🌈
Nowadays my dreams came true with Wine based Windows PC emulators via Termux like recently released Mobox or Termux-box respectively or even Winlator is a solid one.
Hence I'm really excited for further software optimisations for current and future high-end SoCs, as those jointly together with GPU drivers are the most crucial for performance and likewise for smooth&fluid gameplay experience.
Besides it's certainly not only about raw power, but of course, it helps, hopefully in future a lot, as optimisations will get better.
Potential is great and as clearly can be seen, I'm quite passionate about it, moreover the future is bright, in this regard at least 😅

Very tough battle this one indeed, although I personally incline slightly more towards GT5 Pro to be honest due to the larger battery capacity, cameras and slightly larger display for multimedia and emulator gaming 😇

The gt 5 pro has the bigger periscope sensor in the market rn(imx 890), the first android Smartphone dolby vision video recording periscope, bigger VC cooling 12000mm² (even bigger than the redmagic 9 pro 9000mm²), USB 3.2, brightest manual screen in the market rn at 1000 nits (brighter than iphone 15pm at 900 nits, xiaomi 14 750, redmi k70p 700, oneplus 750, iqoo 650), longer battery life, 50w wireless charging, it has thinner bezel at 1.34mm side (94% screen to body ratio).
So yea...
Oh i forgot about this but they also used a stainless steel material for its frame, so its actually stronger than low grade titanium (though it makes them heavier)

I'll never ever get a realme again. I've just found the software, support and have had a lot of compatibility issues. The Xiaomi phones are much better. For whatever reason the screens feel smoother when both at 120hz too

Redmi K70 pro has the slight edge in terms of price here in Philippines, its 5,000php less. Both have their pros and cons, it will just depend on your preferences. If you prefer a better screen and better gaming performance, go with Redmi K70 pro. If you prefer better camera, battery and UI go with Realme GT 5 pro. You can never go wrong with either of the two. But if you can spend a little more money, best to choose IQOO 12 - much better camera and performance. You can have the best of two worlds with IQOO12. :)

Eh if you pick iqoo 12 than the realme gt 5 pro that would be a downgrade tho. You got better UW but everything else is weaker, No USB 3.2, No 4K front cam, Weaker periscope and main lens, no wireless charging, less bright screen (650 nits vs 1000 nits), standard aluminium frame (vs stainless steel), less battery (5000 vs 5400), less cooling (6000mm² vs 12000mm²). You should've said iqoo 12 pro or something like oneplus 12

I suggest you look up the number (I've seen like 10+ reviews already that showed the number) the realme is usually more efficient and no lag at all + with a very competitive temp (around 45-46°) while redmi can reach up to 48° due to smaller cooling (12000mm² vs 5000mm²)
