    Hi Megan! Wow good for you, you should be so proud! I feel like I’m at a very similar point to you, I have great days and only sometimes do I get symptoms if I’m stressed or tired. I get the floaty sometimes but find I can still go to sleep and it’s best to ignore it! I sometimes pretend I’m floating in a pool/the sea when I get that to make sure I’m not fearing it!
    You’re so right with everything you say. we have to be brave and keep the fear at bay!

      I used to do that same thing! I used to pretend I was on a pool as well.
      But I really don’t feel intense symptoms anymore so it no longer feels like I’m on a pool thank god.
      Lately it’s more like my legs are slightly vibrating… It’s kind of weird!! But it’s fading 😊😊
      Thank you for your kind words 😊

    Thank you Megan! this came at a great time as i will be travelling on plane soon. I'm (almost) certain I have pppd though I haven't been officially diagnosed at the moment. I suffer from PoTS syndrome I don't know if you've heard of it but I read that pppd can be created as a second condition due to pots though I haven't personally met anyone who has both condition. I was given a crutch to use to go out because of the dizziness for stability and safety though I'm not sure how many other chronic dizziness suffers do this.
    Last time I went on the plane I wasn't too nervous to begin with however in the setting off and in the sky I did have trouble. It was as if every little tilt of the plane i could feel, almost like the swaying feeling of pppd was just really elevated. I recovered quite fast after though but I'm quite worried to go on plane again after that really bad experience. I'm just trying my best to make sure my brain doesn't start to create pathways between bad symptoms and flying. Do you have any tips on what I could perhaps do leading up to the flight or on the plane to keep my nervous system calm / break the negative mind signals?😊

    • @Megan_Jennifer
      @Megan_Jennifer  Před rokem +1

      I felt the same when I was on the plane as well… I could feel every movement of the plane but I just did the deep breathing and listened to my audiobook and ignored it! When I landed I felt a little bit bouncy because the of turbulence, But I went to bed and in the morning it was completely gone. You just have to start talking to yourself and telling your brain that you’re safe! You need to physically feel safe as well so I recommend to use the parasympathetic breathing.

      I have always been very spiritual so I utilised a lot of self healing, manifesting vibes to feel better too!
      I just tried my best to live my life as I could, enjoying the small things.

I just don't know where to start. What did you do on a daily basis to aid your healing, I've done the steady coach free course and seen your recovery video. Hi, I have the opportunity to fly for the first time ever. Have had pppd from relationship stress last two years. Its turned more to mdds.
    Im scared of how i feel after the flying. I have mdds symptoms full day, 24/7.
    Flying from holland to miami.. 16Hrs with a 6 hours stop in the middle.
    I cant go small because no one wants to go somewhere close.
    I did drive 10 hours nonstop and symptoms flared up alot then. Focused alot on the symptoms.
    Another time i expected them and accepted them, drank enough water, and then after 7 hours of driving i felt waaaay better. So mindset plays a huge roll.

      It’s normal to feel slightly off after flying! Everyone does. But your brain is more sensitive right now so make sure to include lots of regulation practices during the flight.
