If your camera runs out of battery you can always record with your phone. Probably be better quality as it will be in focus. 😂
I could, it would be my VERY last resort though. That camera cost me 800quid in 2015 so I intend to get every ounce of use form it lol

I ran my FTX in an old sand quarry. Took ages to get the sand out of everything.

And the moral of this story is, If it aint broke dont fix it🤨 have seen lots of people fail at this where they fiddle with the adjustments to soon, would be good to see yours actually working.

Unrelated but can we get a little tech tip regarding loads of fuel/oil puking out of the exhaust when starting. Car runs a treat once cleared out but loads up like mad at idle. I've leaned the lsn to near death and same problem
I’d say that’s pretty normal, they will spit fuel it’s because they’re 2-stroke.
Some engines more than others but if there isn’t any it means it’s too lean.
Them drivers are niceee, expensive tho ive seen

I have been thinking about getting one of these. Are there any other models that have interchangeable parts with the carnage? Seems like parts are scarce here in the States. Great content thanks for the continued entertainment 👍🏻

I have a hsp warhead and it is a dead ringer for this thing. A ton of cars all use the same chassis with slight variations for shock mounts and such. Parts are easy to come by

The Torro or Zorro is the same .18 FTX engine and many of the componants are the same including the gears, brakes, exhaust, linkages the Zorro/Torro is more of a Trophy Truck 1/12 scale with the body on its very close to 1/8th scale. I know because I have 1/8th scale Thunder tiger Truggies.
Do you gain anything by using a aluminum clutch?
They’re stronger and have better performance 👍🏻

I need my engine rebuilt leaks back and front fuel every where and I don't know enough about it
try tightening the head bolts first.
Think the bearings are needing replaced

I have s very nice Rustler that has everything. I took the nitro off. I still have it. If you want it. It is the one in some of my videos. If you want it ill let it go for 30$ 😊 i will email you a picture. Woooo
Tht chassis plate looks hardly used one of mines is that scratched it looks more silver than blue 😂

DO NOT BUY THIS GEARBOX !
It’s an FTX factory unchecked gearbox with plastic spur gears that are ok in mesh use, but the centrifugal latch sheared the plastic catch off after audibly changing into 2nd gear for only 30mins !
(2mm grub screw 0.75 to 1 full turn out).
This was after a load of faffing about using Hub Bell Housing micro-shims to allow the hub to spin freely.
I’ve even got it on video audibly changing gear, and then just as I concluded the success.. CALAMITY !!!
FTX really need to make a metal spur gear version asap, because at approx £40 for the full assembly, and wasted time, I’ve had to settle for 1st gear only, which is the same ratio as the standard 1-speed anyway.
However, I have had total success with the aftermarket electric start upgrade, which is cheap and easy to fit.
Put plenty of grease in it though before assembly, it should last a full summer season.
