Wow! The future for emulation is so exiting!
Last night I finished Red Dead Redemption 1 at 4K 70+fps, the road for Bloodborne 60fps is not so distant now... The hardest part of when developing an emulator is the reverse engineering process, once a single game boots is on...
But Red Dead Redemption 1 never came out on ps4.
@@StruggleBoxing I was talking about the Xenia emulator, RDR1 was locked on outdated hardware due to some horrible coding and multiple engine switches, Xenia made it posible to play the game at 4K 60fps, I watched many playthrough of the game running on XBONEX at 4K and still looks better on Xenia with the additional post processing XF added by the emulator.
What kind of hardware do you have to do 4k 70+ fps? I have a pretty decent rig, no slouch by any means and I get about 50 fps on average.
@@HillsofSilence i7 12700k, 3080ti 32gb, don't quote me on this one but I think Xenia relies more on the GPU than the CPU, unlike RPCS3.
@@kodemasterx Oh thank you for sharing your specs. yes you are correct Xenia uses more GPU than CPU. My specs are Ryzen 7 5800X, 32gb DDR4 3600mhz and a RTX 2080 Gaming X trio. that 3080ti is beefy i want to get one.
