Its actually nice to know that Red's eye changes depending on what color you chose in making your character. They make sure that Red is consistently related to you since you are his grandchild. Let see if other physical characteristics can change depending on player choices.
his skin color will be the same depend on your character skin color
His eyes are also the same as yours, so if you pick a different eye shape then he'll reflect that change. It becomes less noticeable with his older model though as opposed to his younger model.
Oltura immediately became my favorite elder dragon after fighting it. It’s so majestic, powerful, and I’m a succor for spectacle battles

Zellard's descent into madness at the end of the game was genuinely terrifying-
Seeing what he tried to do to humans by summoning a monster makes me fear that another wyverian will fall into madness like Zellard and destroy humans. Though I guess the reason behind all his insanity was that he lived a sad and miserable life without Red.

I was honestly surprised about Navirou. I mean, went i first saw him before i get the game, i was sure he would be an annoying mascot character, but he's surprisingly funny and has some loveable side, like when he's with Orgo

Love or hate the story, it was executed very well and these cutscenes are probably the best I’ve seen since Xenoblade 2.
I have a Nergigante on my team and I named her Fluffy. A detail I like about the Nergigante is that when you're riding it, its spikes are small and dull almost looking like fur (which is why I named mine Fluffy) and in battle its spikes are long and sharp.
My Nergigante broke Olturas wings before it nuked us
I just noticed tiny baby Ratha and Navirou literally jumping down the stairs to the dragon shrine at 51:44 and it's adorable!

Plus he was more of a useless monster in terms of traveling too, he couldn’t jump, climb, dash, or do any skill until later into the game

In my opinion he wasn’t useless, he just needed time to develop those powers, which I knew he had them, but I wasn’t like “Useless” on him. Plus he cute and a baby and no body gonna disrespect the baby

I dont understood why or how Oltura went from a huge serpent with multiple heads to a average sized dragon, it was Waaaaaaaaay scarier
I'm convinced that it was actually 2 monsters in the depths, one was feeding and giving energy to the other while the other that was feeding was sleeping

Oltura’s drastic change is in the same vein as the other examples, but on a massively exaggerated and accelerated scale. Being an Elder Dragon, he can choose to just up-end the rules and do what he wants and the world just has to accept “well that happened…”
@@AzureGhidorah um my dude we got the answers for that. Basarios grows into a Gravios naturally, since basarios is the juvenile version of a Gravios (aka a little boy). Xeno'Jivah became Safi'jiiva after shedding it's skin and fully absorbing the ecosystem around it. We also got a cinematic for when Gore Magala turns into a Shagaru Magala (which is a similar process when Kushala manages to shed it's skin)
Olutra though? the change was DRASTIC. From a giant moving plant snake carnivore with no body but it's slick and dalamadur look alike body. To a more composed and down sized toned elder dragon that has Final Fantasy moves.
... I would've thought those questions would be obviously rhetorical by the fact that I mentioned which monster became which directly myself.
My point is that this is a natural process. A process that we can see occur even in our world. That is to say, a caterpillar becoming a butterfly, or other such larval insects otherwise coccooning and drastically altering their outward appearance when the time comes.
The only shocking thing about this is the sheer speed with which Oltura transforms. Which can be waved away as 'He's an Elder Dragon, of course he can change that fast.'

The rival or "cool villain fighter" being cool while you're just some kid has always been a sire point in many games for me. Riku in Kingdom Hearts, Friends who go bad, they all look so cool. Therebare storytelling reasons for you being new or fresh to the world but staying uncool isn't necessary, i agree with you.

I'm actually watching these scenes again after beating the game. I was wondering why Zellard wanted to awaken Ratha's power since it didn't really make any sense. Why awaken a power just to seal it again? Now it makes sense

MHS1 happened in broad strokes, rather then faithfully following the roadmap that actually occurred. Red IS the first protagonist, which is why his signature Rathalos, the Guardian in these cutscenes, is known as “Ratha”. Events still conspired to make other returning characters recognizable to us regarding their development from the first game, but ultimately Red was either A Lot Older for MHS1 then depicted, or someone else took his place for Avinia, Lilia, Cheval, etc, and they only know the Black Blight from recent legends involving Red.
@@AzureGhidorah Kuan Village just got rebuilt from the black blight incident, the main problem in mhs1. I really think that Capcom is just giving importance to their first flagship monster. And besides, all the old character's stories are the same. The only one missing is the first protagonist

The Black Dragon Known as Fatalis was Being a Legend of the Dragon feared that It took over a Kingdom but not like Wanting to Destroy the World. I would put Oltura somewhr near Safi Jiva. Safi was said that It could have the capability to Drain the Bio-energy from anywhr

For the monster hunter games. We've only got 2 black dragons. These one being Alatreon and Fatalis. they are considered Black dragons because if they want they could destroy the entire world or the ecosystem by just existing.
Fatalis awakens for 2 things that are theorized.
1. He awakes to eat Lao Shen Lung and continue on a rampage throughout the world until it's satisfied
2. a prediction from legends tell that Fatalis will awaken and bring destruction to all for it's power is beyond that of a normal black dragon. He awakes because he will take revenge against humanity who have killed thousands of wyverns in it's wake.
Basically he is either super hungry or he is an avenger
OLTURA might be considered the same class as Safi, an elder dragon whose capabilites can make him/her a black dragon, but since we haven't seen what she can do OUTSIDE of the forbidden grounds. she is elder dragon

How yall beat oltura? With a lvl 39 Ratha and a lvl38 Zinogre I went 60 turns and still lost because Alwin lost all his hearts.
Uses monsters with kinship attacks that hurt body parts directly like narga, ratha and monoblos. Gunlance is very good and dont forget that the rite of channeling can be used to give element resistance to monsters. Narga definitely needs it for the thunder attacks
crafting rivers of Vital Essense
I did it boys , without any vital essence , I won with just one move away from it final move where everyone looses a heart . Ratha ,Zinogre , Astalos combo all level 40.
I was LV.45 (and also my monsties + "Archer Bakugo")
Ivory Monoblos lvl 42 did almost all the job for me, i was only here to spam the heal. Pretty easy, didn't event lose a heart, but really cool fight, i love big flashy moves like the one Oltura do
This game’s cutscenes are on a different level but Ngl “Ride on!” was better in the first game.Way better in my opinion

He sure made me mad at first and he still kinda does but at the end I do appreciate him loosening up a bit and teaming up with the allies and giving the Rathalos a chance.
@@christineking8183 still as a hunter I kinda expected him to be a bit more worldly part of that job is technically globe trotting. Just look at roverto kinda what I’d expect from a hunter personality wise he didn’t have an issue with riders in the first game and he’s still ok now. Granted Kyle is younger but riders have been around doing stuff and known about since the time skip which is argue is at least a decade or so. So it’s not like riders haven’t done stuff equivalent to hunters. So just a little respect for riders a bit early on would have been appreciated.

If Alwin is allergic to Felynes, how come people and hunters from the Monster Hunter games are not allergic to Felynes. Personally I wish that all allergy types even the most rarest allergies would just cease from existence not just for us humans but for animals as well.
Wyverian is different from human and judging the way Alwin didn't know anything about allergy before, i assume allergy is something very rare in wyverian race

this game was amazing. I have a couple of questions as to the story but this game was amazing to play and the story was amazing as well (for me at least). these questions have spoiler so you've been warned
alright so my questions are.
1. Does Ratha still have destructive power in him? his kinship didn't change so i assume so. But we've been told his dying so i guess he controlled his powers? I think he's getting another upgrade to the kinship attack, mainly because it does not appear in the gallery.
2. In the trailer for the road map, Kyle had a Kushala bow, after the game he get's a Mizutsune bow. Sooo i'm guessing after a while the characters upgrade one more time as well.
3. I wondered why the elder didn't know about Oltura despite having a weapon that can pierce it's wings.
4. How did the previous Razewing Ratha defeat Oltura? it showed the wings burning but it also showed a fully matured Razewing, so how does an adult look like in game? I noticed that Razewing Ratha and normal Rathalos have distinct differences, the pattern on Rathalos wings is different from Razewing, the scales of rathalos are dark blueish while Razewing are clad black. So either once again Ratha still hasn't used his true power (most of the skills can be obtained by a regular rathalos, besides Solar Cry) or it was a Dreadking rathalos (since it's a rathalos with clad black scales).
5. why was Oltura feeding from Rathalos and only rathalos? I'm guessing he was making sure Razewing Ratha didn't exist but as we saw, he/she was mostly focused on getting rathalos.
6. Where is Kyle's father? it's been weeks, if he's a hunter he can brush it off

But for the 6 question: he was hospitalized after receiving a major injury from guardian Ratha. You see him in one of the ending cutscenes petting Kyle. Then Kyle tells you he's recovered if you talk to him in Lulucion
