I also wanted to ask on what's the scientific difference between Kinnow and Malta ?
Kinnow is hybrid mandarin orange. Kinnow is hybrid between King mandarin and Mediterranean mandarin released by Howard Frost.
Kinnow is highly productive. Malta is like mosambi ( sweet orange). Malta is in greenish yellow colour and Kinnow is in Orange colour. Like Nagpur mandarin orange Kinnow also belongs to mandarin family. Malta is round shaped. Kinnow requires some cold climate during winter to develop colour and taste. Malta can be almost grown anywhere.
