reading the author's last blog, yet only knowing it from just osu mania conflicts me. you get a sense of how precious older songs are in thjs age, and how easily beautiful tracks like this could be gone.
(for context, the author, senpi, couldn't recreate this style and had built up pressure to submit another song for a niconico douga festival, but couldn't submit a song in time as it wasn't ready. they then deleted all their accounts (not the vids), so if they had uploaded on youtube, no record of this song might even be up today... as nnd doesn't delete videos with the account, you have to manually delete the videos)
it's like reading a copy of Shakespeare, and finding out that long after his death an official compilation of his works was written by friends and fans, to preserve shakespeare for the masses. senpi's works feel the exact same, a small great footnote of life with a stroke of luck in it's preservation

Here are the times if you want them. But the only part worth listening to is from 0:02 - 26:31 . In case you are wondering, I put the Japanese names in Japanese name order. For reasons. Because Remi's and Alice's names are English, I put them in western order.
Those aren't Last Word Themes, those are Revival themes.
Last Words are bonus cards that are separate from the main game, only added for replayability excluding the main game and extra stages. Civilization of Magic, Border of Life, etc. are Revival Cards, which unlike Last Words are part of the main game.

For some reason I almost cried when Shinki's theme came on. I was thinking "Is there no PC-98 in this? That's a bit sad" and then I was like "adijlfkgh"

Its just... the work that probably has been put into this... incredible.
I am the only one who is actually thinking of a Touhou boss rush, as the music changes to X character theme said character drops in and starts to fight, and as soon as its theme is over another character takes over. For 20 minutes. That would be pretty damn epic. Sort of an extra mode or maybe even Phantasm...
Anyway, this needs more love.

A lot of the segments are longer than others though. We'd be seeing a hell of a lot of Suika.
That sounds like it would be crazy hard. It also wouldn't make much sense unless you said that Satori and Koishi were looking into Reimu/Marisa's(since they've fought every one of these) mind and subconscious to make them recollect all the tough opponents they faced in a desperate attempt to defeat them.
Still, I would love to see something like that as well. Also, everyone would be shocked when the PC-98 bosses came. It would be hilarious. They beat Byakuren, let out a sigh of relief. Then they realize the stage isn't ending and then Shinki comes from nowhere!
When I saw this I actually thought it was a Danmakufu script where you fight every final boss in the series.

I didn't see the date of upload of this, I was expecting Little Kobito Princess and Pure Furies, my 2nd and 1st favorite themes

This melody was available on the author's website, but that's gone, so I shared a link in the video description that's a free download of it. If you want to hear the originals, I have the names of each of them in the annotations.
This remix really expresses a touhou game where all the stage bosses are all final bosses. I hope this remix has room for the new games too.

The theme of Kanako is one of my less favorites, or the least probably, but I can't say that certainly, I've not heard all of the 6th themes completes, but in this medley I can tell that is my 2 favorite, just behind of Eirin theme
I'm guessing I should choose soon, and I will, once I figure out who I'll choose.

Playing this in my last stand in the middle of a zombie apocalypse and a magical fairy invasion from another dimension, as I'm accompanied by only a small squad of neo-Soviet soldiers with their phased plasma rifles while I'm driving a Ford Mustang GT in top speed with said Soviets, crashing through military checkpoints while being shot at by Apache attack choppers and US soldiers who try to quarantine the area of said zombies and fairies.

Just in case you've never heard of him, there's a guy named marasy8 who's played many of these songs on the piano! I find it a bit interesting to compare the way these same songs are interpreted, that's all.
The girl in blue with the blue hair is Sariel, the Angel of Death and final boss of the Makai route from Touhou 1.
The girl in red with black hair is Konngara, the Astral Knight and final boss of the Hell route from Touhou 1.
Wow, I just noticed the pattern of the song's arranging. Think about it, you go from Windows Era up up to Byakuren, who has very closely implied connections to Shinki, which then goes back to the PC-98 Era.

@Hatsukuro when I was listening to this song on the 3DS and nightcored it, it sounded way better than even this. Like, since this is one of my favorite instrumentals as it is, I really wanted to make a nightcore of it. Especially since nobody has done it until now.

I'm not sure if it's exactly 180 characters, but it is a ridiculous amount. Most of the main games (the ones that don't end in .3, .5 or .8) introduce at least 6 new characters each; plus Suika, Iku, Tenko and the catfish in the fighting games; plus Hatate in DS; plus the characters from the manga and novels; plus backstory characters like Layla Prismriver, Youki Konpaku, Myouren Hijiri, the god Okuu ate, and Mokou and Marisa's fathers; plus Maribel and Renko....

These are the last bosses from the first 12 Touhou project games as well as the final bosses of the two fighting spin-off games. I kinda want to do a video of a Mystic Square run since Shinki is one of my favorite final bosses, so check back here in a few days and you might see one on my channel.
