NAROX Band of Rabaul "Vuvu Ialire" 1987 album

Prior to the volcanic eruptions, Rabaul was the capital of the PNG music industry, pioneering lots of local PNG sounds that today's bands and studios have adopted.Local bands were everywhere in Rabaul including this 80s group, the NAROX band,led by a teenage lead guitarist by the name of Kabu Rita,he's the little guy standing in front on this cassette cover.Kabu would later become the lead guitarist of Shut Down and Quakes bands.
Here he makes his debut as a lead guitarist and a vocalist singing this 80s hit,"Vuvu Ialre"
