I struggled with art these last weeks of this year, but I got through it and I am excited to go back to work fresh after my holiday.
I am super excited for the new year and I have a lot of plans. So much happened in 2018 and I hope I can make 2019 as crazy productive. Have a lovely New Year’s Eve and I will see you in the new one.

I think a lot of people would enjoy the nettle vs hush hush as a print 😍😍
I love your work so much. I enjoy your thought process, your hesitation, deep level thinking and the strong connection to your roots, your family and your culture. This (and all your other) pieces are amazing. You tell deep stories even if you don't think you are. The origins you are going back to and referencing in your art are so important for people to value more their own culture and history. Imagination will die if all the people in the world come to know only mcdonalds, coca-cola and santa clause.
I really like this illustration!!! It’s kind of funny to me because the little girl is just standing there in front of this huge scary goat monster waiting for presents and smiling without an ounce of fear, and here I am imagining myself in her place...I wouldn’t be standing there like that, lol!! I would be screaming and crying for my mommy while running away saying “F- the presents!!!”....and I would probably need a clean, dry pair of clothes and a shower...because at that age that monster goat present giving monster would have made me pee myself! Even if it looked docile and “nice” as it does in this illustration....it doesn’t change what it is!! Lol...and I was scared of sitting on Santa’s lap when I was a small child....imagine if I had to see this goat thing!!!! Thanks so much for sharing this amazing illustration!! Off to JelArts video now....
You've done it again, amazing us with your awesome art! I think what I'm loving more and more about your art is to make the mythology of your own culture appear in art in such appealing and comforting ways. Your video is my little save heaven from the first Silvester fireworks outside that make me flinch and hate the day. It's so interesting to hear and see your progress, the struggles, and your pushing through, all the attempts and the final piece. Just listening helped me a lot to calm down. So thank you.

Oddly I discovered both you and JelArts' channels nearly the same day and have been binge watching both for several days now. I am just delighted to find out you two are friends on here. I was also heartbroken to hear about your illness, so my thoughts and prayers are with you. I have had life threatening illnesses twice in the last three years so I know how emotional it can be as well as how it can really mess with your priorities. Of course, do what you have to do, but I am selfishly hoping you will be back on CZcams soon because you are such an inspiration, and your work is beautiful.

The cinnamon on the milk makes it look like a moon, but instead of grey, it's a browny red and it looks so cool!
