    Bought Freesia and Pear and Wood & Sage on your recommendation and they have just arrived.....SO delighted with them....the similarity to Jo Malone is pretty good...!! And the price is affordable for me...unlike Jo Malone which is beyond my reach until l win the lottery....!!!!
    So a big thank you for your helpful review....!!
    Keep posting....!!!☺️👍

    Price must be fair, especially nowadays. I own several Jo Malone fragrances, and a couple of Tom Fords, but I am glad that Jenny Glow and Just Jack showed up as they demonstrate that price is a matter of marketing, and that well-esteblished brands are very cynical.

      You hit the nail on the head. Its all about the marketing. Sometimes you do pay for quality and I do not mind at all but the Jenny Glow blew me away, I am just amazed at the quality. The hype has died down a bit with this company and the range was getting much slimmer in the place where I would normally buy it, but I was surprised when I went yesterday and seen some new scents. They now seem to have Chanel and Victor and Rolf. I was in a rush and just grabbed one bottle which I haven't opened yet but I will probably post a first impressions and review video. Chanel and Victor are not my favourite brands but I know people who like them so I can maybe pass on the knowledge to them if these are as good as their previous scents. Thank you for watching and taking the time to comment x

    Thanks for the review!! I had a candle with a wood sage and sea salt scent and I fell in LOVE WITH IT!! Even though i'm a guy I find this scent to be gender neutral and not harsh. I live in Canada and I ordered 3 bottles online after finding your review! Even with $23 dollar shipping fee I think its totally worth it, Thanks!

      prit lex OH wow I hope you like it but everyone I have talked to says it is so good so I am sure you will.
      I think it is a very gender neutral scent because it smells so natural. I love Canada, I have close relatives in Vancouver and love the place so much x

    Thanks for the review! Ive never had a chance to sniff jo malone version, but in my local shop i found this jenny glow one, and wow! No weird dry down, lovely smell. The simple packaging draw my attention. But all perfumes from jenny glow have the same names as those from jo malone... i think its more than inspiration ;)

    Bought Wood and Sage (how it is called now) for 10 € few days ago as a guy and it smells amazing, it’s a shame that it lasts only like 3 hours :/ But I love it.

      @szwenax5768  Před 2 lety +2

      I can't believe it only last 3 hours for you, that's a shame. I guess everybody is different but for me it seriously lasts longer than the jo malone version that's what got me excited. Thank you so much for watching.

    Ja, Jo Malone makes beautiful fragrances, but the potency and lasting power is so, so crappie, never would spend that much money on their bottles (there are just to many amazing niche fragrancehouses out there, where I find fragrances f that kind, that are better, long lasting and with a great sillage), but have to try this one, thx for sharing!

    Hi! Thanks for sharing!! Do you think they smell the same or better??

    • @szwenax5768
      @szwenax5768  Před 5 lety +4

      Good question!! I honestly think they smell the same. The only reason I think I reach for the Jenny glow one more is that it has a longer staying power. I didn't notice until after I did the video that the Jenny glow one was an Eau De Partum so that explains the staying power, but I don't think it smells stronger or has any noticeable difference in the notes.
      Ask Amber lol She loves woodsage and Sea salt too xx

    I know it’s a very old video but I strongly believe Starling Parfums has discontinued this one. I even contacted notino and they said they haven’t ordered anymore (prob not available). I found an 80ml for £21. Would you say that’s a good price for this fragrance? Really don’t know if I should blind buy or not.
    Also, I’ve heard that M&S Seasalt and Neroli is supposed to be close but I never tried that one.

    • @szwenax5768
      @szwenax5768  Před 3 měsíci

      Not sure if this particular one is discontinued, i just bought the light blue Dolce Gabanna version in my local chemist and noticed they have many more different fragrances. Honestly i do believe this is actually the same scent and long lasting. They are beginning to be hit and miss, the light blue one is brilliant but i bought the Floral explosion which i think is supposed to be like Flowerbomb and while its a lovely scent , its not quite the same.
      I think i need to try more out lol

      @@szwenax5768 ahhh okay I managed to contact a representative form Sterling Parfums last night on WhatsApp. He said “production already stop” then “production may start again but not sure”. So my theory about it being discontinued is right which is unfortunate.
      What’s the name of the light blue one? That one sounds lovely. Is it close to Wood Sage and Sea Salt or did you mean it’s Wood & Sage but rebottled.

      It's better than the real Jo Malone. The scent is the same and it lasts longer on the skin

  • @stewart335
    @stewart335 Před 4 lety +1

    I'd much prefer to give my money to Jo Malone and the perfumers who work with the brand rather than some dumb copycat wannabes who just steal all their fragrances....They ARE counterfeit. They copy the names EXACTLY and even had advertising saying "Smells just like Jo Malone London" of course which JML then took legal action.

    • @szwenax5768
      @szwenax5768  Před 4 lety +22

      Hey there completely up to you where you spend your money but i prefer not being ripped off and i just feel like Jo Malone are ripping peeps off. I own a few fragrances which do not last on my skin in comparsion to these cheap dupes. Jo Malone does not own JML anymore which is disappointing and mave the main reason for poorer quality fragrances. Her new company However carries on the ethos, service and quality fragrances which i feel is now lacking in JML. As for counterfeiting, i completely agree i think Jenny Glow were sailing a bit too close to the wind with their names. They could have been a bit more creative because JML don't own copyright for the actual scents.
