- Citroen C1 sill repair part 2, cosmetic artisan repair using the finest body filler and paint available.
This one actually turned out half decent surprisingly.
P.s. the sound goes a bit dodgy in some bits. It’s cos there was silly clown music, and someone put claim in for copyright royalties or some bullshit, so I just muted the shit out of the shit music 🤷♀️
Amateur car bodywork paint job
I’ve had to mute some bits of the video due to copyright, basically because I had about 30 seconds of a song clip (that I got from an allegedly copyright free website) the artist claims all the revenue from the 30min+ video that I spent hours making (probably about 50p but that’s not the point). This is why there are some bits that don’t really sound right 🤷♀️

Thas a tryer lad that's for sure, nowt wrong with that job. Never done any bodywork in my life, but I think the secret is, several boring thin layers instead of one large McAlpine mix of filler. Brilliant as ever, who needs Mike and Ed when this guy is here. Keep it up Bud, it's sure is fekking entertaining. A great watch, warts and all.

It's a tutorial in the broadest sense of the word and a good one. It'll get the car through an MOT and looks decent enough. Cheers again. (Polished Man is a great cause mate)

In all honesty, it doesn't look too bad! You saved it from the scrap which is the main thing.

Been filling a few holes in my transit van the past few days so know what its like !!
Haha yea it went off way too fast. When it comes to holes and being holy, transits can get pretty biblical lol
I would say not bad for a first try. Me being a perfectionist could not proceed to next level with the paint run that's for sure!

See I knew it! You could put a wide wheel spacers to widen the stance of the C1 and then also widen the side skirts and the front and rear bumpers.

This reminds me of my younger days when every car you got had rusty holed wheel arches.. rite of passage to fill them up and paint, doing a terrible job as a teenager

@@StupidBlokeStupidVideos yep.. covering the sills and several inches of doors with brushing underseal,. Pop rivet aluminium over holes...

The black sandpaper is for waterproof, to work with water!
You don’t have to use it with water, only use it with water for a finer finish as I do near the end of the vid when sanding the primer down and flatting the lacquer before polishing it etc.
To say you kinda just winged it, it actually came out not bad lmao

I think the last coat was a little too heavy hence the paint runs.
I think so too, I also think it didn’t help that I’d left the coat underneath it to dry, so was sat on shiny hard paint rather than paint that was still tacky.
